Les Picardies is an idyllic french farmhouse that has been lovingly restored with a large, warm and extremely comfortable interior located in beautiful countryside but close enough to visit the nearby villages that have restaurants and ancient churches to explore. The breakfasts were a perfect start to the day. The rooms were well appointed. very large, light and airy with comfortable beds. Martin was the perfect host who welcomed us warmly and we felt like friends when we left.

Great value and a wonderful experience. Clean Spacious rooms, in an old historic building full of art antiques and interesting interior designer touches. The owners obviously have a passion for their space. Free breakfast was a simple bonus I had not counted on. Value here is worth the price!

Everything. The property was beautiful and close to the lovely historical town of Confolens. Amanda and Kevin were excellent hosts being both friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and had a beautiful view over the River Vienne. A delicious continental breakfast was provided. We would definitely return to 13Bees if we were in the area again. Excellent. Perfect.

Exceptionally well laid out and comfortable property. Everything has been thought about and essential every day items ready to make the stay easier. This is a newly opened accommodation, once the word gets out will be in high demand. A little oasis with wonderful view of old town. Debbie the owner put her heart and soul into this place, from decor to special touches. We were able to park our bicycles in her garage. The rooms with shared bathroom ( separate toilet) are nicely decorated , beautiful linens on the bed and millions dollar view. Breakfast was a tasty spread of quality cheeses, cereals, yoghurt and preserves, juice, fresh breads, croissants and fresh fruit and coffee. You can’t get a view like that without a bit of a climb but sooo worth the effort. It is near shops , restaurants, bars and lively plaza. Oh and there is a lovely patio sitting area with flowers and grape arbor. Any guest who scores this lovely place is lucky indeed. Thank you Debbie you are an amazing host and made our stay so enjoyable.
