I very rarely give 10’s but can’t help myself here. Lovely B&B with separate living and sleeping areas in a house listed as an attraction on the town walking-map. Can’t say enough about the owners Betty and Erich who communicated with us to make our arrival easy and who were helpful and hospitable despite us having no shared language. It was a few hundred metres uphill to the town centre but that was just a nice walk.

If you would like to experience staying in a historic château, this is the place to come. We read the stories on the château’s website, felt inspired, and decided to visit. In the living room, we found some family artefacts, and in the kitchen there was a beautiful historic fireplace that added to the atmosphere, along with a lovely breakfast setup. The rooms are luxurious and have a separate entrance. In the evening, we even saw a deer in the forest park. There is a small kitchenette, which is useful if you want to have a picnic outside. We were very happy with our stay. The only suggestion I would make is to provide guests with arrival instructions on the day of check-in, including where to enter the property and where to park.
