We picked this place as it was half-way between Switzerland and The Netherlands. It turned out to be a very typical small town in the Ardennen with steep sloping streets, terraced houses and beautiful surroundings. The house itself is quite old, lovely wooden staircase, and indeed, painted a wonderful framboise colour. We had a large room with twin beds, which was great for my sister and I.

I can’t say too much really.

I can’t say too much really. Came here for the final evening of Les nuits of Longwy, which was great. Parts of the city are quite different in altitude and overall it didn’t strike me as very picturesque. I would definitely say this is not a place for a casual stroll.

Stay with f1 twice in 1 week the first time was ok and...

Stay with f1 twice in 1 week the first time was ok and useable the second time was very bad and will not stay again.IE shower flooded room (110) changed room to (111) and could not lock door but was told this is ok ?? the staff turned off the coffee machine and we were told its not free(don`t mind paying for a coffee)the breakfast is no worth the money.

The town of Longwy is currently undergoing extensive housing construction, but it remains easy to get around. It may appear somewhat "dreary" as many buildings are abandoned and dilapidated; some are being restored. Around Longwy, there are many beautiful sites to visit in France, as well as in Belgium and Luxembourg. Longwy is also close to the French borders.

Bed and breakfast booked for a family reunion. It's difficult to express my impressions of this town. If you happen to be going to Longwy, I recommend the "Couleur Framboise" bed and breakfast.

Really nice hosts. Good location for me....by this I mean there is a moderately steep walk up to the town center (15mins) so it may not be for everyone. The house is pretty and there is a nice shared kitchen with all mod cons with free coffee and snacks and breakfast included. TBH, i didn't get to stay the full night as I had to return home at short notice but If I was in Longwy again, I would be happy to stay there. Also parking is available at about 30 meters from the building. I recommend.

adequate large apartment. had to go to a separate location 500m away to get keys from a key box and enter a door code. it's a bit of a shady area and if you have come as a tourist to town you are in the wrong location you want Haut Longwy. fine if you just want a cheap nights accommodation.

Very clean and comfortable and secure. We were very happy to have a leisurely week. The town was more interesting than we thought with the Longwy emaux factory and museum and Vaughan’s defences in Longwy haut.
