Located in the heart of Lorient, just a 2-minute walk from the port. Hotel les Pecheurs features a terrace and a bar. The beach is only a 10-minute drive away. Lovely, inexpensive hotel that met all our expectations. Proximity to Centre Ville with good bars, restaurants, shopping and all within walking distance, brilliant! Room clean and bright. Breakfast okay, no choice as served on a tray but adequate for €7. Will return when in Lorient.
Dating back to 1936, this family-run hotel is located within a short walk from Lorient city center, 0.9 mi from the Cité de la Voile and 3.1 mi from Larmor Beach. Free parking is available nearby. Wonderful hostess, the easiest check in and check out ever, so friendly and very helpful. I was a little worried about sharing a WC (one on each landing), but it was all very clean.

This Hotel Mercure is located in the city center of Lorient just opposite the Palais des Congres (convention center) and near the marina. It offers rooms with attached bathroom and free Wi-Fi. The manager of the hotel was exceptionally helpful and friendly, she went beyond the call of duty to help, she speaks good English and has an excellent manner. The hotel was perfectly situated for the InterCeltic Festival which takes place right outside the door. I was impressed that, although there was a lot of noise in the street until the early hours of the morning, our room was very quiet and we were not disturbed at all. The hotel is clean and very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

It is a quiet city with its own ambiance. It can be nice to spend a few days there with super friendly people. But for me it was kind of boring. The best thing is that I was there in August during the yearly Interceltic festival which spiced up my stay. Music and boutiques everywhere, was really fun!
We were there for the start of the Festivale Interceltique and that was great. It is a relatively new city so doesn't have the ancient churches of other French cities. It is a nice ferry ride across to Port-Louis and the city is easy to walk around. The festival is huge and very well organised. So good to see Breton music, dance, food and culture being celebrated.

Spotless apartment, well-equipped, in which everything functioned well. Very quiet building well-away from the noise of a main boulevard. Well-situated for a visit to the centre of Lorient and to accessing the water bus to Port Lorient. Close to grocery stores, bakeries and restaurants. Excellent communications with the owner and the concierge. I would stay here again were I to return to Lorient.

It had everything we needed. Nearby parking, a supermarket, a bakery and far enough to walk into the centre of Lorient and the Interceltic festival to give a good workout and far enough out so as not to be disturbed by the inter-celtic festival revellers.

for starters The host Chang was kind to pick us up from the neighbour village since the bus dropped us there instead of Lorient actually on a holiday. The room was super comfy with a superb view. The house is surrounded by greenery and tranquility. There will be water, kitchen faciltiies, free tea, coffee and so on. The host is always there and if not he is a phone call away...Though there isn't much one would need. Perfectly suited for people with cars. There is a bus station 5 minutes away but the schedule needs to be checked specially in holidays...
