The breakfast was equally worth lingering over with an array of freshly made bread, croissants and pastries, home made jams, yoghurts and fruit salad, juice, cold meat and more. The countryside was superb and whilst the lanes were narrow,...
The countryside was superb and whilst the lanes were narrow, the GPS found the hôtel easily. The parking area was spacious, and other residents friendly and of all nationalités. This hôtel was à real treasure situation in lovely Park Land. If you want to get away..and like calm..this is the place with lovely walks around.

The property is set in its own grounds in a rural area a little off the beaten track. The room was small but equipped with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities and a private bathroom with shower over bath, wc and toiletries. The room was quiet and the optional breakfast provided everything you could need for the day ahead. Evening meal, again optional, was good food with ample choices and pretty good value for money. There is car parking on site in the grounds and both indoor and outdoor seating areas.

The hotel has lots of character and is out in the country so very quiet and in large grounds. It is near the town of Sees which is charming, and good for a last stop before catching the ferry from Caen.
The restaurant was good, quite smart and prpbably recently redecorated, and the food was good, though they made us chose our dessert at the same time as our started and main course, and I would have prefered to wait and see what I had room for.
The staff were good, though perhaps a bit stretched, and their English was OK.

I think this is my favourite hotel. It has a very good restaurant and very nice champagne. This was my 4th stay and I find it quirky and rather charming. I really look forward to returning soon.

The food is the hotel is excellent especially for a 2 star hotel , it's a picturesque setting , to be honest the building and grounds are lovely

Breakfast and dinner are offered at this hotel and both are good quality, with plenty of choice. For those who like wine, there is also a good choice at various prices.
