The host (very attentive but discreet), the house (very comfy beds, toilets on each floor, two bathrooms, clean and neat, warm and with very lovely touches including beautiful flowers welcoming us). The town and location is heaven: near a beautiful mediaeval market square with a cathedral, a river and we have never seen before so many nice food shops within a few meters of the house and each other, butchers, bakeries (cakes are oh so nice), fish shop, Carrefour - one can find a shop for each area of life, you name it: even a newsagent with hundreds of magazines and newspapers, and a tobacco shop. All are open in April when there are no tourist crowds. And a dozen restaurants! We will remember our stay fondly and will be back at the first opportunity.
