We were in Avignon for 1 day in early April 2016. It was cold and windy, very windy. We drove from the Best Western on the outskirts of Avignon to a public parking place. We walked into the old town. Very nice but expensive. We did go inside the Palace of the Popes but did walk out on the bridge. We paid extra for the audio tour which was worth it.
Amazing place in which I felt like in my own little oasis. The property is very cozy, quiet, with a big garden, and makes you feel like home. Bernie was super attentive and was on top of all to make sure I was comfortable and feeling good in my stay. She gave me tips and recommendations of where to go and the logistic in center town. I took the breakfast in place and enjoyed a lot, specially the homemade marmalade! Would totally recommend this place and will go back if I visit Avignon again.
We had a large double room that opened out into the garden. The kids loved it and it was really convenient. The breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful. Good Best Western hotel.
