Featuring an indoor swimming pool, Vacancéole - Résidence Grand Massif is located at the entrance to the village of Morillon in Haute Savoie, just 20 minutes from exit 18 of A40. Morzine is 19 mi... Friendly staff. comfortable well-appointed room. Swimming pool and they allowed dogs.
Located in the Morillon Les Esserts Ski Station just 164 feet from the ski elevators, Residence Eden offers fully equipped accommodations with self-catering facilities and mountain views. Very clean and tidy apartment in a fantastic location ( 100m from lift and ski passes). Underground secure parking available at extra cost ; worth it in bad weather. Showers excellent, hot water, warm room, adequately equipped. Small resort and quiet with a few bars and restaurants ; we chose to eat in on two evenings , which was a first. Sherpa in village where you can buy essentials, although probably better to this before arriving (large supermarkets in Clauses). Easy access into Flaine with some excellent skiing , mainly Blue and Red runs , many through the trees making it ideal for navigating when heavy snow is falling. Ideal location for short skiing break; took us less than 1 hour from Geneva airport mostly on motorway.
This residence provides furnished chalets with balcony in the heart of the Giffre Valley, just 4921 feet from the slopes. It has a sauna, an indoor pool and a gym. The chalet felt reasonably spacious, but that was mainly due to the lack of furnishings. Quiet location with lots of parking. Indoor pool was good and unusual for a chalet at this price point.
Le Chamois is located in Morillon. With free private parking, the property is a 9-minute walk from Le Grand Massif and 3.8 miles from Morillon Ski School. Everything location facilities Sophie and Vincent are excellent. Cannot fault. Apartment superb has all you need and well equipped.
Offering free WiFi and free private parking, Appartement Tout Confort is located in Morillon, within just a 17-minute walk of Le Grand Massif. Good value/price and easy to contact host. Small but functional. Good location as we had a car to get around, only 5 minutes drive to closest ski lift. Nice views. We had a lovely holiday!
Ferme Dowena is a holiday home featuring free WiFi and a patio located in 1.1 mi from Morillon and 2.3 mi from Samoëns. Just the most wonderful place and the most wonderful people to host. The place is spacious and have everything you need. Would love to come back again
Pleasant little town, with everything in easy reach - gondola, grocery, pharmacy, supermarket (on main road to Samoens). There's a lovely blue lake where we took pizza and wine for dinner. Next to this is a fantastic adventure trail amongst the trees - Boy (13) had a great couple of hours.
If you do not have a car then there is a lack of supermarkets and restaurants. Buses finish early so only option then is a taxi. Nice village but was just a bit small for us. Did have a good bakery though.
Morillon is perfectly placed to access the Grand Massif and the larger resorts of Flaine and Carroz, although it does have a very nice forested ski area of its own along side Samoëns. The village its self is small and does lack the bars/restaurants of the main resorts so if that's your thing look elsewhere. A car would also make you stay more enjoyable, parking is free and plentiful at the lift stations.
Compact little village with great access to the Grand Massif. A few little bars, supermarket and a few eateries means this is a great place if you want to grab a few days skiing with the family or small group, but perhaps not if you are a large group looking for nightlife.
A very quaint village that buzzes at the weekend. Great ski bus service. Lots of activities for other times of the year. Within easy access of Geneva airport. A good selection of restaurants but need to book as busy. Lovely local villages accessible by ski bus during the day. Telecabine from Samoëns for no skiers to watch/ join loved ones at the top of the mountain with good food available and a solo sax player!!
A great little ski village. It's smaller than most in Haute Savoie with just one main street. The restaurants are quaint and there are a half dozen very charming chalet style restaurants that seemed like they were straight out of Heidi. There is a small Casino grocery store open mornings and afternoons (closed for lunch) convenient for supplies. The ski station is reasonably priced for debutantes. It's 7 euros to go down and up as a non skier in the telecabine.
My son and I found the location perfect. Morillon is a lovely Alpine village and the property is a classic french Alpine style house right next to the ski lift. The owners of the property Fredrick and Natalie were so helpful friendly and accommodating. They cooked a variety of different meals every day to exceptional standard from locally sourced produce. It was a very enjoyable stay that I would highly recommend and we all plan to return.
Big and comfy room, nicely decorated, bathroom with a big bath tube. There was also a jacuzzi outside, but we didn't try it cause we didn't have the swimsuits. Hosts were extremely welcoming and attentive. Literally 2 minutes of car from the main ski cabin of Morillon
As it was the end of season, the apartment was good value. Basic but comfortable and clean, it had decent beds, good showers, and everything we needed to make simple meals. Staff were welcoming. Pool is nice. Morillon is a little place - everything you need is close.
Good hotel with a nice location and friendly and service minded staff
Great Crepes at L’Beu in Morillon 1100.
