Auberge La Cure is located 3.7 mi from Oz Ski Resort, which offers direct access to L'Alpes d'Huez Ski Resort. We loved Auberge La Cure! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the food was delicious! As vegetarians, we especially appreciated the chef making a vegetarian evening menu for us.
Offering ski-to-door access and a ski school, Moontain Hostel is located in Oz in the Rhône-Alpes Region, 656 feet from Poutran Cable Car and 98 feet from Clos du Pré Ski Elevator. The hotel manager and his staff just goes way and beyond. They all make you feel their hotel is your 2nd home. Also superb located to the ski slopes and lifts - can't get it any easier. I highly recommend this place. Thank you all for a superb week in the France Alps!
Located in Oz, Résidence Couleurs Soleil, Oz en Oisans offers accommodations a few steps from Poutran Ski Elevator and 656 feet from Olmet Ski Elevator. We booked a large apartment for seven, although we were only four. It was plenty big enough, immaculate, and had everything we needed. Incredible value for money!
Located in Oz en Oisans, in the Alpe d'Huez ski resort, Le Château d'Oz is just a 10-minute drive from the ski elevators. Guests can play table tennis or table football in the games room. Great informative and friendly hosts, wonderful self catered and half board apartments ideal for skiing, cycling or sight seeing. Amazing food and lovely area. You won't be disappointed!!
Chalet des Neiges Oz en Oisans is located in Oz-en-Oisans, just 5 mi, or a 15-minute cable car ride, from the Alpes d’Huez Ski Resort. Location was just next to ski lifts. Apartment was spacious and the view was amazing.. Staff at the reception were friendly and provide us all the info we needed. Shops are in a few meters. Definitely recommend this property.
Chalet Clementine is located in Oz-en-Oisans Ski Resort, within the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domain ski area. The property is surrounded by pine trees and offers views of the Belledonne mountain range. Close to the slopes. Very comfortable. Lots of utensils and equipment. Clean. Very good service from the owners from booking to leaving the chalet.

We had a wonderful stay in one of the many well equipped apartments on offer and ate with the hosts and other guests in the evening as you can stay self catered or Half board. The 3 course meal Gill served was absolutely delicious and very good value for money. The accommodation is very comfortable and spacious with everything you may need for a week self catering. We had a private patio and plenty of space. Great for skiing, cycling or sight seeing holidays
Beautiful village, virtually ski in ski out. Easy access to lifts. Wide slopes and good range for all levels of skiers in nearby Alpe d’Huez. Good selection of restaurants and great food especially the Poutrans restaurant.
The ski station of Oz en Oisans is perfectly located in the middle of the Alpe d'Huez ski area. There is great access via 2 separate gondola lifts to the main points in the ski area. The Oz station has a grocery store and a great bakery and some nice restaurants. Multiple ski stores and of course a ski school. Everything you need without the busy atmosphere of bigger stations.
It all depends on your purpose and contents of your group. Great skiing for children and beginners. Not many challenging slopes (almost all lower black slopes are closed all season) and the lifts to the top have very long waiting lines (most lifts are outdated). But a lot of easy, not too crowded slopes for the kids. The village is cosy, mostly auto-free, compact, and provides everything needed for a holiday with the kids. There is no apres-ski, but we didn't miss it. The Wednesday evening torchlight descend for the kids (organized by the ESF) is a wonderful happening. There is not much parking space, except for a parking garage, which you can not leave during the week without paying for another week.
Lovely, picturesque small ski-village with a only few choices of bars and restaurants. For self catering purposes there was a bakers and a couple of fromageries etc, however there is only 1 small and expensive supermarket and a car is needed to get to next town for shopping as taxis are expensive and buses not regular. Would probably hire a car next time as access from Grenoble was expensive via Bens bus and taxi. Well equipped for skiing and boarding with lots of ski-hire options and 2 main Gondolas giving access to Alpe D'Huez. Brilliant choice of runs from beginners to experts.
