Loved the breakfast! Eggs cooked to order was a special treat. Our hostess, Pascal, was very gracious, offered coffee and drink, and took time to talk with us in the gazebo when we arrived. The rooms were elegant and in the character of the house. The pool and tennis court were great extras. We love this hotel. We stop here every year coming back from Italy. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly, nice and helpful people. We have never had a problem there. The restaurant next door is very good too. The food has rustic and up-to-date food.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is clean and the shower is very good. The grounds are good for taking dogs for walks and the restaurant is clean and the food is excellent.
The hotel was an oldy worldy type of hotel that needs to be updated. The staff were very nice, friendly and proffessional. The room was ok but the bed was a bit hard and they only had one pillow per person instead of the customery 2 spare pillows. The bathroom had a bath with a spray attachment to the taps but did not have a shower curtain. This needs updating. The food in the restaurant was expensive but very good.
The hotel is nice enough, the bar in the reception helps, but the rooms are just too small. Decent bathrooms are a must and this one was fine, but if the room is so small that a person must be careful when passing the bed not to get scratched by the the rough wall finish, something is wrong. Ibis are pushing economies too far. One extra meter would make all the difference and make it a decent average hotel room. Breakfast at the Courtepaille restaurant adjacent to the hotel and reachable by an internal door was fine, but dinner was very slow.
Charming little town with everything you need for a short stay. Lovely town hall and theatre with a square in between with ample cafés and restaurants. Lac du Der nearby for folks looking for recreation. We only stayed overnight on the way home from vacation on the coast.
Saint Dizier was a nicer town than first impressions on our arrival to hotel. Nice town square where we sat outside to have a drink & eat. Good park for the children to let off steam after journey. Some decent shops as well. Nice boulangerie a couple of minutes from hotel.
The dinner meals were very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast had a lot of choices and self serve was easy to do.
