The hotel was exquisite. Beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. The pool was an extra bonus! Our family of 4 was very comfortable in the suite. The food was delicious and the staff all very accommodating and helpful.

Really great value. This hotel is like stepping back in time. Real phones in the room with a list of local doctor numbers. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast there. And such a beautiful area! Friendly staff.

The attention to detail by the friendly and helpful owner. The room and bed were super comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was the best i have had at any hotel. Perfectly positioned in Sare, close to everything but serenely quiet. We had wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and their changing moods. The room was very clean, a good shower and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely with bread, pastries, fruit, local yoghurt, juice, tea and coffee. There was a fridge and kettle we could use to make tea and coffee and a table outside to sit. The hosts were very welcoming, and had good information about what to do, especially local walks.

We stayed at Hotel Arraya in the lovely village of Sare and absolutely loved it! 💛 This charming historic house is run by a wonderful family whose warmth and hospitality made us feel truly at home. Everything is cared for with so much love and attention. The restaurant is excellent, and the location is perfect for exploring the Basque Country and the Pyrenees. The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave. 😊 We’d love to come back and highly recommend this beautiful place!

The hotel is great! You can feel it’s not new but everything is maintained just perfectly. Staff seemed really nice and spoke in english. Also, the hotel is dog friendly and they do not charge extra for a dog!
