For what we needed the location was great. Very near the event we were going to and nice and near Charters and also to Chateaudun. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was continental with varied choices and I would definitely recommend the restaurant but be aware that it isn't open on Sundays and there isn't anywhere to eat in Voves. Charters may have places but it's not easy. To find places on a Sunday in small towns in France.

Owners were very concerned with pleasing us as their guests. Breakfast was prepared with care and it was delicious. The room was immaculate with modern facilities and a very comfortable bed. We used this as a stopover while heading to CDG airport in Paris.

We had a great stay at Au Did de Champs. It's such a peaceful and quiet location less than 30 minutes from the cathedral of Chartres. Sylvie was a great host and a great chef as well (we took her up on the dinner option). The room, reception area and entire property are extremely well maintained. I recommend staying here 100 per cent and we would definitely stay again.

Ludo and Alexis are wonderful hosts. From the moment Alexis greeted us we felt at home. They have a very interesting property built in an old coaching inn. However all the important features are up to date. Our room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. Ludo is a really good cook and we had a superb meal, especially the terrine and the crème renversee. Breakfast was also special with tasty homemade preserves, financiers and chocolate praline cooks.
