A lovely hotel, old fashioned in ambiance but not in facilities. Loved the idea of an adults only lounge. The breakfasts were a high point, served with elegance and style. Used the pool once and found it clean and bright. Staff were well-trained, friendly, courteous and excellent. We went there to relax, really enjoyed our stay and have been telling others about it ever since.

Tasty evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast. Great value. I will definitely go back.

We only had a one night stay, wish we could have stayed longer, beach looked lovely even in the rain. We ate at the Dovey Inn while out for a walk. Good food and good price. Polite staff and lovely views. Well worth a visit. We are going back in two weeks. We stayed at the Brittania Inn well worth a visit with very comfortable rooms and great food and staff.
Lovely seaside town - bleak in winter! If weather is good nothing better than a walk on the sand! Fabulous scenery and plenty to do in the surrounding area which is not too far away eg 4 miles - Talyllyn railway. Plenty of good walks in the area too. Aberdovey is only a small place so very easy to get round. Plenty of places to eat - including the Dovey Inn!
An attractive seaside village at the mouth of the river (Dovey?), the buildings are charming, there are places to shop and eat. Not sure if it would be a good place for self-catering as there do not appear to be a wide variety of food shopping opportunities. There is however a butchers, a deli and a convenience store so you wouldn't starve. The scenery is breathtaking, the beach is clean and satisfyingly sandy. There are mountains and sunsets (sunrises too I am sure but I did not witness them). Beautiful location for any season.

I have holidayed in Aberdyfi for 16 years with my family, me and my boyfriend wanted a place of our own to stay for a couple of days whilst my family stayed at hillside village. Seabreeze was perfect, right on the sea front! Breakfast was exceptional, in particular the fresh fish on offer. I would definitely stay here again!
