Established in 1924, The Gleneagles Hotel is a prestigious resort in the heart of Scotland. Set within 850 acres, it offers 3 championship golf courses and an ESPA spa, along with a falconry school. The recent refurbishment is stunning. The staff were outstandingly helpful, in the hotel, the restaurants, the spa and the golf course. Well done to everyone we met.
The Glendevon Hotel has a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Auchterarder. This 3-star hotel features free WiFi and barbecue facilities. Stayed with family this weekend at the Glendevon hotel and we were very satisfied with our stay! We were over from Ireland visiting family in the area so this hotel suited us perfectly as the location is great! Your staff are A1, especially the lovely lady we met at breakfast and again in the evenings, we regret not getting her name but her service was excellent. Thanks for a great stay we look forward to booking with you again soon ☺️
Wyndham Duchally Country Estate offers stylish, modern spacious accommodations and great leisure facilities in 27 acres of parkland, surrounded by some of the most spectacular and picturesque... Quiet, fantastic place, with swimming pool. Perfect location, far from the noisy cities. That was our second stay, we will come back.
Between Stirling and Perth in the Highlands of Scotland, Cairn Lodge is a charming Victorian hunting lodge with free WiFi and free parking. Staff are very proffesional and friendly. Accommodation is clean, calm and well managed to control Covid-19. I have enjoyed very nice meal at dinner and breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel.
Set in Auchterarder, Persie Croft Bed & Breakfast offers accommodations with free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a shared lounge and a garden. Persie-Croft is charming! Perfect location and Janet is a perfect host. Rooms are quant and comfortable. I’d definitely come back here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area. Love the breakfast and the shower too!
Located at Gleneagles village, 2.5 mi from Auchterarder, Gleneagles Village Apartments feature a balcony overlooking the communal gardens and the grounds at Gleneagles. Free WiFi is provided. Superbly presented apartment with high quality linen and towels. Very comfortable beds.
Gleneagles Lettings offer privately owned self-catering apartments nestled along side the grounds of the world famous Gleneagles Golf Course, which was the venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup. Had a brilliant 2 days at the Penthouse. The apartment was so well set up and Mike took time to show us how to work everything. I would highly recomend.
Apart from the fabulous Glendevon hotel, there are numerous places to eat, drink and enjoy ..my photo shows the lounge at the Glendevon…the food is to die for. There is a marvellous Chinese restaurant Tango’s (10 out of 10 for service food and surroundings) and a lovely Indian Restaurant Sheray Punjabi with its gorgeous menu and ambient surroundings. Allan’ butchers shop is hard to bypass… always worth a visit for that something special. Many more things to say about this little gem of a place. We love it xx
Auchterarder is well located for trips to Crief, Perth and Stirling. It is a rural town with many excellent restaurants. Golf courses are in abundance with Glen Eagles basically connected to the town.
We are at the Auchterader Golf Club and although the food was if a good standard, we were obviously not members and felt like we were treated as such. Man behind the bar was abrupt no customer service, we asked for windows to be closed as it was a really cold breeze, told no, 10 minutes later closed on request by a member, don't need to say anymore! Area is lovely, Gleneagles speaks for itself, Bannockburn exhibition is very good!
Auchterarder is a great place to base yourself for exploring Perthshire. The village is small and there are a few very nice cafes for your coffee stop. The golf course was next door to our hotel which is perfect if you golf. There are so many villages within easy reach and towns like Stirling and Perth to visit. The scenery is beautiful in this part of the country.
Great pubs, restaurants and friendly locals which enhanced our time away. Max and Ben’s Bistro was amazing. Debbie and the regulars at the Golf Inn made us all very welcome in the pub, we went as strangers and left as friends.
Proximity to glorious countryside:walking, hiking. Lovely individual shops, no chain stores, some very smart. The ,most wonderful charity shops!! People so chatty and friendly Walking through the Glen of Eagles on a chilly frosty autumn morning is magical. Max and Ben's for dinner is a must and the cafe opposite also deserves a mention Cafe ZIZI????
The hotel and spa are immaculate, so clean and kept to a really high standard. We ordered room service for dinner, the venison shepherd's pie is wonderful. We both had treatments; head in the clouds massage and the deep tissue massage from Beauty by Brenda (she was brilliant, one of the best massage treatments I've had) I would highly recommend booking with her in advance, she books up quickly! Breakfast was also lovely, full cooked Scottish breakfast and pastries etc. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating.
This is a home from home. Everything you’d want (maybe a hot tub) to have a comfortable break. Allows dogs but you’d never know this by the cleanliness of the Lodge and gardens. This is unusual to me, a lodge with so much ground, Debbie met us bang on time and gave us a quick show of where everything was. It’s an easy 15 min walk into Auchterarder and a 15 min drive from Perth. We loved it and will definitely be back.
Loved the personal welcome and overview from host Mike ,location is fab right between falconry and equestrian centre of the hotel .If you are up for a walk approx 30 min from auchterarder Main Street The apartment itself was clean well equipped with lovely decor again Mike showed us how all the gadgets worked from lighting ,coffee machine sound system etc . Fabulous sleep comfortable beds
All staff were friendly and attentive. Convenient location for Gleneagles Hotel and Auchterarder village Very good Lounge bar and dining areas, nicely furnished and in good condition. Our room was compact but ok for an overnight stay. Nice furnishings and in good condition Very good breakfast
This was my second time to Gleneagles. It remains 5 star, There were improvements since my last visit, but also some deficiencies at the Spa since my last visit. The room, immaculate, and sumptuous, with the views of he Highland hills. Service top notch, wonderful restful stay.
The decor, furniture and fittings in the apartment were excellent. A stones throw away from Gleneagles Hotel and it's facilities which were great especially outdoor in the nice weather. Check out at 11am is also good, no rushing around in the morning.
Persie-Croft is charming! Perfect location and Janet is a perfect host. Rooms are quant and comfortable. I’d definitely come back here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area. Love the breakfast and the shower too!
Homely additions eg teabags, coffee, milk, bread and condiments. Robes to use if required. Very close to the hotel and golf club. Beautiful tasteful apartment
It's was clean and had everything we needed. Was within walking distance of gleneagles hotel couldn't have been more perfect.
