Rachael was really friendly and helpful and she went out of her way to help me explore the Fairy Glen hiking trail in the limited time I was there. The location was nice and central to what I wanted to see. Bus stops were very close, which made traveling easy. And I loved the personal touch with a handwritten welcome note, flowers and a little card.

We had a great stay at the lovely Culloden stables. Owners are quick at communication! The house has everything you need in the kitchen. Bathroom has a supply of shampoo, conditioner and soap. Very clean home! Check in was easy- with great instructions amd pictures of lock box, parking space and unit! They had teas and coffee and milk. We are so appreciative of all the details. Inchrye is beautifully located beside the water, in a small town outside of Inverness. We loved the space in the bedroom & the property has direct access to walk along the beach front towards Fort George or into town to the pub for dinner. The sun is still shining at 9:30 at night so this was a beautiful way to end a busy day! The hosts Dougie and Jess are incredibly warm and welcoming. They felt like family and went above and beyond to provide information or make personal connections. It doesn’t seem like anything would be too hard for them, Jess even packed us a small breakfast to go one morning.

The village was clean and tidy and there is everything you need on your doorstep.We found the people really helpful and friendly.There is a lot too see and some great walks for all ages.We spent a lot of time on the beach and down at the harbour.We would recommend the Chinese takeaway it was really good and worth every penny.There is a lovely swing park for the kids with something for all ages.Avoch is easy to get round as everything is at hand,it is a great place and the scenery is spectacular.

It's a beautiful village.

It's a beautiful village. We saw dolphins in the Moray Firth from the breakfast room at our B&B! The harbour is nice and an excellent dolphin boat trip leaves from there. The only downside was that there is no pub, and there aren't many taxi companies, which means one of you may end up as the designated driver a lot of the time.

A beautiful historical house and garden in a peaceful location and a stunning view from the hill to the sea. The breakfast with freshly picked berries in yoghurt was just enjoyable. The villages of Avoch, Fortrose (note IV10 restaurant & coffee house) and Cromarty (dolphin watching) are near. The best thing though was the hospitality of our hosts Steve and Tuan. They also have their art gallery in the garden - worth of visiting. Thank you for a memorable stay with you!

The cottage was delightful - it was very clean, well equipped , modern kitchen, comfortable beds and in an excellent location. Parking practically outside the front door. Although Avoch is small, there are lovely take-away restaurants and a cafe within less than five mins walking distance. The owners are really lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. Everything you need on a holiday.

Great location, right on the waterfront. Fantastic views. Good location for travelling around Black Isle and Inverness area. Really liked Avoch as a village - interesting place to walk around and good facilities close by. Host provided plenty of information although it took us a little while to work out the TV.
