Excellent location, clean, and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but perfect for a one-night stay as we continued on a road trip. Rooms were clean and big enough, and the beds were comfy. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was no refrigerator in the room, and we carry medication that requires refrigeration. They helped us by keeping the medication in the kitchen's refrigerator overnight (in a closed container). They also provided the rooms as requested (close by and with the right type of beds (one queen size, the other with 2 twin beds). Would stay again!

Extraordinary property. Beautiful estate house on edge of Loch Lomond. Breathtaking views of the loch and lovely gardens and marina area. Food both at dinner and the breakfast spread were great. Impeccable, friendly service. We were just there for one night so did not get to try all of the amenities (pool, spa, boating and even seaplane rides).

Andrea was a lovely host…it was our first stay in a guest house and my first traditional Scottish breakfast. Loved the whole experience, although just for a quick overnight.

Easy check in with the keys in the lockbox. Alan, our host, responded quickly to our queries. The apartment was clean and tidy, which could accommodate 4 of us. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was well equipped and we can prepare simple meals. The beds were comfortable which allowed us a good sleep. The location was good too, within walking distance to the town center and near driving to places of attractions around Balloch. The TV entertainment channels were great! And finally the checking out like any other instructions was easy and simple. Thanks Alan and June. We had a great stay although it was only for two nights.

Lovely wee toon.
Lots ongoing. KILT-WALK w/e.
Helpful locals.
Clean and tidy streets.
Pubs, cafe’s and shops doing a great trade.
Many outdoor facilities to choose from.
Shopping outlet by Loch Lomond a brilliant place to visit. The wee eaterie by Pavers Shoe shop is great for food, drinks, people watching, views and a good venue for men, when the ladies go shopping 😄.
This wee toon was rammed with walkers and “Kilties” ( people assisting the walkers and doing a great job of traffic management etc. keeping pedestrians and drivers safe , throughout the whole w/e ).
Outstanding wee toon.

Beautiful scenery on the walks to Loch Lomond shores, if you can get on the boat tour then I would definitely recommend, so tranquil. The Tullie Inn is directly next to the train station and across the road is the boat trips booking office. We’ve stayed here a few times. Pleasant staff, cosy, comfortable and clean spacious rooms.

We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch. Easy access to parking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food good and great variety. The only downside is there is no sitting area away from the restaurant at night. Could do with a little bar to have a quiet drink before going to bed. You can easily access anywhere else in the Balloch area.

Didn't spend a huge amount of time in Balloch bit did a Loch Cruise with Sweeneys which was very pleasant. Also took a walk through the Castle Park and saw a Red Squirrel there, park is beautiful too which also has a walled garden. Lots of places to eat in Balloch and big Coop open 7 days a week until 10pm

Apart from the House of Fraser shopping centre there was not much else. Ideal for walking an=round the area but the town itself is in need of investment as it was pretty shabby, poor example of the gateway to Loch Lomond

Small pharmacy, gift shop too
Need more shops
The property was in a great location for exploring the local area with Loch Lomond only 15 mins away by car , train station is at the end of the street along with Sweeneys cruises if you wanted to boat over , there was also an information point in the shop nearby where the staff were very friendly and helpful in advising us on our options . The hotel itself was extremely clean , with wonderful staff who made us feel so welcome - the breakfast is a must 😍
Lovely friendly staff. Restaurant very clean and the hotel room spotless. Great location for locally walking around balloch, 10 mins walk to Cameron house and also Balloch country park. Great Chinese opposite and other pubs extra locally and co-op too. 10 mins from Lomond Shores. Will book again soon.
We were in a small apartment, very spacious (the room was a bit small but really comfy). You can eat in the apartment since there is a microwave.
Breakfast was great.
Our host was very nice and welcoming.
Balloch is a good place to discover Loch Lomond.
Great stay here.
I've stayed at three hotels at Balloch this year, and Tulie inn got the best location. It's wonderful for people travelling by public transport and walking because it's close to the Balloch Castle Country Park and other popular places.
Lovely comfortable hotel on a beautiful location. Very dog friendly with lovely walks. We got upgraded to a lovely loch view room which made our stay even better. Food in all areas of the hotel was great.
