Located in Hereford, within 5 mi of Hereford Cathedral and 5.6 mi of Hereford Castle, Longland Guest House features accommodations with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for... It was clean and modern and had all the comforts I required. I felt thoroughly looked after by my surroundings and was able to relax there. The host was available but I didn't need anything.
Set 5.6 mi from Hereford Cathedral and 6.2 mi from Hereford Castle in Hereford, The Mill at Rose Villa Farm offers accommodations with a kitchen. What wasn’t to like? Everything about this property was tip top. Wonderful location that could easily be reached by public transport. The bus stop was outside the door and regular buses run into Hereford. I dont have a car so this is important to me. There is a shop across the road as well as post office five minutes walk away which both provide the essentials. Otherwise a bus ride into Hereford meant stocking up at M&S Food Hall! Milk, tea, coffee and delicious cookies provided on arrival. Host Jason and his family were wonderfully friendly and accommodating. The grounds were lovely, as well as there being fantastic views from my bedroom window in the morning. Well stocked bathroom and half way through the visit Jason came across to offer me fresh supplies of towels. This is a great property for a country stay that is easily reached by car or those who use public transport or bike. Very child and pet friendly too.
Rose cottage is located in Wellington and offers free bikes and a terrace. The accommodations is 5 mi from Hereford, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. Brian and Tracy are wonderful hosts. We arrived late due to traffic jams and they provided information on what grocery shops were open late and welcomed us warmly. Cottage's very cute and clean, with all necessities, the property is beautiful, we wished we could have stayed longer. Our children happily used the gym, after many hours in the car, and loved having Zeus the cat visiting us.
Cheap rooms, lovely grounds/house. However dated decor, no security, filthy bathroom and kitchen. No instructions how to get into our room and no one to check us in. They had given our room away and told us to just find out which were free by entering and seeing which didn’t have stuff in. Saying that it’s cheap so you get what you pay for.
Accommodation was wonderful and breakfast stuff was an unexpected bonus. The Manager was uncontactable, the Housekeeper also became uncontactable. The room details were wrong and the name on the gate was Brockington Hall not Bodenham House all a bit confusing.
we arrived quite late ( we had a "Do" to attend elsewhere) but driving through the village on a spring evening , it looked as though a walk through the village would have been lovely - the only noises were the birds singing
Location was the only.good thing. Badly organised and managed. Our room was doublebooked. No cleaners for 3 days according to guests. Room dirty and 1 quest had to change bedding at 12 oclock at night. Electric went out 1 oclock in the morning and my hudband had to find fuse box to sort it out. Never again. Not recommended for anyone.
