Beautiful hotel and location. Cozy rooms with all the amenities. A beautiful deep porcelain tub to soak after a long day. Food in the restaurant was wonderful. You didn’t leave hungry ! Staff was amazing and attentive. Took our luggage to our room and personally checked us in and made sure we were comfortable. Beautiful gardens. Perfect for a getaway or special occasion. We were traveling and found it a relaxing break on our road trip.

We stayed here because of the close proximity to Chatsworth and it had the small country pub and inn style lodging we were looking for. I had been wanting to visit the area for years and when we arrived for check in the property and surrounding area was so beautiful I got teary eyed. It really felt like a dream come true. The Inn is nestled next to a quiet stream and is perfectly situated to enjoy beautiful and expansive views from all sides. We enjoyed visiting with guests in the RV park and sat outside and enjoyed a hot cup of tea outside on the patio even though it was still a bit cool in the morning. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant both days and we enjoyed the food, staff and ambiance of the spaces.

The accessibility of the village is great and the village...

The accessibility of the village is great and the village is an ideal location to explore the Peak District. I used to live in this part of the world and it was nice to visit all the nearby towns and the surrounding countryside. There are two small pubs in the village which are easily accessed from anywhere in the village. I would describe Bonsall as a sleepy, quaint, quiet village please visit you won’t be disappointed

Lovely little village, close to Mattlock which has an M.

Lovely little village, close to Mattlock which has an M. & S. Foodhall with plenty of roof top parking, banks, post office, restaurants, take away food - fish and chips. All you could want on holiday.

Bonsall is a lovely old village with lots of history.

Bonsall is a lovely old village with lots of history. Very unspoiled. You can buy a pack of walks which take you round the village talking about places of interest! In a good location for other interesting places such as Cromford, Matlock Baths. We ate at the Fountain cafe and Barley Mow. Highly recommended.
