From front car park to main entrance, no footpath off the car park with dropped access, apart from a loose stone path then stairs. Made it impossible to pull a suitcase. We chose to eat in the hotel first night and I had to ask for my table to be cleared three times and sanitised before I could sit down, as the staff kept forgetting. Food was B&B standard at best, worse chips I’ve ever tasted!!! Pizza base was burnt and never have my my kids ever refused to eat chicken strips. Waffles were good though. So day 2 we went KFC up the road instead. Waitress even knocked a bottle of cider over and it poured off the table all over my t-shirt and shorts. To my surprise she didn’t even have the decency to apologise just said ‘oh thought that was empty’ further surprised that she didn’t even suggest replacing it. Not to mention them setting up juice and glasses on the table next to us and making us feel like we had to leave because the football team had come back and were all gathering by reception wanting to get under the tv as football was on. Room was good size and good layout. However, beds where like sleeping on a pack of bricks and serious lack of pillows, first night I asked for some additional pillows that never come, then I asked the house keeper next morning for some extra pillows after an awful nights sleep with a stiff neck and still none! That I had to ask twice before I got them. Tea/coffee/milk wasn’t refilled in the room and was expecting a bottle of water of cartoon of juice in the fridge at least. Even at travel lodge you get complimentary biscuits. Pool was fantastic though despite not having the option to use health spa or changing rooms due to COVID and staff where lovely here. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, very poor quality.
Everything was clean and comfortable. The room was quiet, apart from the storm raging outside. Breakfast really exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff. Our stay was excellent value for money. Business visitors will find it convenient. The rooms are not cramped. There is also a Gym. If you fancy a swim, there is also a swimming pool. We will definitely stay there again.
Likes the hotel was clean staff friendly and couldn’t do enough for you Nice area ... plenty of toiletries hairdryer iron and tea and coffee making facilities Beds hard and breakfast plenty of choice but buffet warm think would be better to order what wanted , save a lot of waste and lot of money
Our visit was specifically to meet friends and old acquaintances, having lived in the area. Bracknell is a recently re-developed "new town" with a bustling shopping centre, but is, in itself soulless. As a base to visit the glorious east Berkshire and Surrey countryside it is perfect and its proximity to M4, M3, M25 would make it a very good centre.
The place gets better every time I return. It is easy to walk around the area and I particularly like the cinema there. My family lives 10 minutes away so we often come here to eat, entertain and do our shopping. The place is well designed so it's pretty easy to navigate.
We had difficulty travelling round Bracknell as roads were busy, did not realise hotel was nearer to Binfield which is outside Bracknell which delayed us. We were only there one night for a funeral so were not able to have much experience of Bracknell itself.
