Brinklow is a very pretty village with a good selection of pubs and shops. It is a good location for visiting Coventry or walking on the Oxford canal. Also the Coombe Country Park is close by for walking and kids activities.
My children loved the piano, both play it at school and home. Driveway was a bonus, lovely location with a park opposite and the Tump a short distance down the road. The village chip shop is highly recommended. Ice cream sold at the post office was reasonably priced and a good selection of flavours.
Lovely village - both the White Lion and Bull's Head were very welcoming and had good entertainment on both the Friday and Saturday. We also ate at the Queens's Head and the The Smithy which both were excellent and value for money.
Nice quirky cottage in good village location, hand shops and take aways and 2 pubs easy walk. Clean bedding and nice chairs in lounge. Small patio at rear . Great value, heating needs to be on longer in winter and cold evenings as not controlled from your part of the house.
A quiet village with T junction rambling style lay out but of no particular country charm or character. There is one post office which sells a few supplies, take away food outlets (Chinese, pizza, fish and chip etc) and small café and at least 3 pubs, one which has a reasonable restaurant. No other shops of note. Intermittent bus service to Coventry and Rugby, unreliable when we visited, as the hourly service was cut. Surrounded by wide open countryside which is good walking country (mainly flat). Nice country park about 5 miles away, worth a visit.
Nice village, good base for getting to Coventry City Centre. We enjoyed food from the local village fish and chip take-away can absolutley recommend, only stayed 1 night but would stay again and for longer, would have tried the local pubs, but not stayed long enough.
