Located in Caldicot, Caldicot Court, by StayBC features accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. The accommodations is 12 mi from Bristol. The property has recently been renovated and is done to a really high standard. It’s in a lovely neighbourhood and the neighbours were all really nice. The house is deceptive in that it’s much larger than its exterior shows. The flooring in the entrance hall really took my fancy and is really creative. The lights in the shower head are different too. We couldn’t find the cutlery at first, but it’s in the drawer to the left of the sink. (A drawer within a drawer). The location was perfect for us because it was about 5 minutes from Rogiet (by car) or 45 minutes walking. We were there to visit my son and his wife and their new baby. The house was perfect. Absolutely no faults whatsoever. It was also perfect for my wife’s mother as she is disabled and there were various handles/steps which made life easier for her. 10/10
With breathtaking views across 400 acres of picturesque parkland, this elegant 14th-century manor has 2 golf courses, a fitness club, a spa, superb meeting facilities and 2 on-site restaurants. The property was lovely and the staff were excellent!
Welsh Apple Barn is set in Chepstow, 7.5 mi from Tintern Abbey and 5 mi from Caldicot Castle, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. Cosy and warm even though the ground floor is open plan. Very well designed rebuild/renovation. Felt safe and secure as it is a part of a small community of private, ancient renovated buildings. Roomy and airy for a small cottage; a bit "Tardis" like!
Located just off the M4 Motorway, Tŷ Hotel is a modern hotel with inclusive freshly cooked grab-and-go breakfasts, free WiFi, a bar, a fitness room and free parking. It was clean. The room was big. The bed confortable the stuff very friendly. Will go back if I go to wales again.
Two Rivers Lodge is set one mile from the historic town of Chepstow, close to the A48 Road. It features a restaurant, an outdoor eating area and a children’s play area. We are just checking out of here today after 4 lovely days here. We couldn’t fault the place. Staff are all so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful to us especially with our busy 2 year old! The breakfast was lovely every day. We also had dinner here one of the days which was lovely too. There’s a great in door and out door area for kids. It’s a very comfortable hotel. All in all we’d definitely stay here again.
Found in a building that dates back 500 years, The Coach and Horses Inn offers bed and breakfast accommodations in Chepstow. Free WiFi access is accessible, and free parking is possible nearby. Everything was perfect, great bed, great shower, great food and great people running it.
The town itself isn't particularly interesting, but it has a lovely castle with attractive grounds - great for walking round and also entrance at times. Surrounding countryside is also attractive with easy access to the Wye Valley, Roman remains at Caerwent and the Brecon Beacons.
TV couldn't recieve signal, could only access a hand full of channels. Food from the nearby restaurants were very poor. Bed was very uncomfortable. Shower gel and had wash almost empty. only one toilet roll in bathroom. lack of staff
This boutique B&B is a little gem..! After a long drive I was greated with a lovely welcome and a pot of mint tea whilst I settled in. My room was lovely with all sorts of added touches which made it such a lovely room - a variety of tea’s, toiletries, sleep mask and ear plugs (not needed, great sleep), lavender sleep spray and jelly babies...! The breakfast is worth staying for alone and my milk alergy was catered for without a second thought AND you have to have the Welsh brekkie, gorgeous... My only gripe is that I had to remind myself that I had to go to work because it was such a restful, lovely stay! Janice and her team are fabulous - amazing value for money, I’d pay more to stay there.
Northgate house was close to st Pierre. The hosts Marion and Brian were very welcoming and friendly. The food was plentiful and it wasn't a greasy breakfast. Cooked just the way we like it. Had a great nights sleep in a very comfy bed. Lovely and quiet, and very clean.
The motel is ideally located just off the M4 motorway and close to Cardiff and some delightful villages. It is very clean and the staff are pleasant and although a little basic was good value for money. However, the car park area at the front of the motel can be noisy at times and this was highlighted by boy racers waking people up at 6.10 am on a Saturday morning. Very annoying. Nonetheless, I would recommend the motel as the rest of our stay was relaxed and pleasant, but would also recommend that travellers try to book a room at the rear of the motel as this appears much quieter.
The location was practical for my trip but room looked a bit "tired". Close proximity of McDonalds also attracted boy racers late evening so a bit noisy at that time. Bathroom needed some updating.
