Ely Hotel by Chef & Brewer Collection, hotel in Camberley

This traditional English country hotel and pub with beamed ceilings, free Wi-Fi, cask-conditioned ales and a homey atmosphere is just a short distance from highway M3.

It is a cozy place and quite comfortable. I was met by friendly staff each day and it was a casual atmosphere in the residence and restaurant. The bar was welcoming and the prices of beer on tap were reasonable. I did enjoy the breakfast and that was varied and could be customized. Very clean, and plenty of parking for visitors.

Lakeside International Hotel, hotel in Camberley

Lakeside International Hotel is 10 minutes from Farnborough and Camberley. Set in a 25-acre estate, the hotel has a restaurant and scenic views.

If you're looking for somewhere with a clean bed and shower and a nice view for drinks 10mins to the town, this is a perfectly good option for the price. Dated interior design though the lobby & amenities are relatively grand (however still dated). Room was perfectly clean and the view of the lake was a nice bonus. Downstairs bar stayed open late (Thursday) and the terrace just outside the bar is great for a drink with a view. Breakfast was fairly basic but fine for me - traditional English Breakfast buffet plus a choice of cereals & coffee.

Hurstbourne, hotel in Camberley

Providing a garden, Hurstbourne features accommodations in Camberley. This bed and breakfast provides free private parking, private check-in and check-out, and free Wifi.

The Hosts were extremely friendly and very helpful! Hurstbourne was on a quiet street and neither too far from the Camberley Train Station nor the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Our travel plans changed after we had made the initial reservation and an additional family member was going to be joining us. Another room was made available with no fuss and a reasonable rate. Moreover, the rooms and en suite were well-appointed and quite comfortable. The light breakfast available each morning was fresh and had plenty of variety. We could not have asked for a better stay!

Macdonald Berystede Hotel & Spa, hotel in Camberley

Styled like a French chateau, this historical manor is 1.5 miles from Ascot Racecourse. It has a relaxing spa with swimming pool and gym, and features an AA Rosette-rated restaurant.

Overall the food in the restaurant was good. Breakfast was typical buffet styles, but nothing excessive.

Not an awful lot around Camberley, The Rose and Thistle at Frimley Green is a nice pub with a good menu. There seems to be plenty of places to eat within a 5 mile radius. We stayed in the area because we went to Wisley Gardens it was a reasonable travel distance.

I have grown up near Camberley.

I have grown up near Camberley. For me, it is a functional, not unpleasant town, that is well-located for access the M3, and certain attractions like Virginia Water, Saville Gardens, Legoland / Windsor Castle, Farnborough Air Show - and a big M+S + Tesco! Plus has nice facilities like Vue multiscreen cinema. The Military Academy's annual heritage day is worth a visit. Otherwise you can't get in there! I don't think it is a tourist destination in and of itself, however.

If you like a real retro hotel experience this is the place to come to. It must have been the height of luxury in the 1980's. Great location geographically and we slept well but a makeover would we well worth the investment as the location next to the lake is superb. The hotel is clean and well run, and car parking excellent. Weird layout with steps up to 1st Floor Reception and if you have heavy bags it is a real climb however to the right of the entrance porch there is a lift up to Floor 0. A bus load of ladies arrived when we did, and all lugged their heavy bags up these steps. I am disabled on an electric buggy so needed this lift.

Easy to access by motorway. Lovely area.

Easy to access by motorway. Lovely area. Accessible to supermarkets, drive through and a range of pubs and restaurants as well as being close enough to travel to Windsor. We ate in a local pub ‘The Forresters’ and were able to get a nice coffee from the local Costa when the hotel wouldn’t serve one!!

I know Camberley well as my Mother used to live there. I was staying for 4 nights to swim & use the spa for treatments and visit friends and family close by. It is not a place I would choose to go on holiday!

Really enjoyable stay. Only down side was that we waited an additional hour and half to be given our room. Check in stated 3pm, we have a one year old and has the hang around the lobby and bar area with him until 420pm as our room wasn't ready. This isn't what you expect from this type of hotel. However I felt sorry for the lovely lady on reception as she seemed to be trying to resolve a number of issues for a number of different guests who were also having different issues with their rooms.

Very spacious, clean room and bathroom, well heated with a lovely skylight. Fantastic variety of food for the continental breakfast in the morning. Appreciated that we could self serve at our own time for breakfast, in the communal kitchen/diner room. Also, very impressed with the keypad for the doors - no need to wait at a reception for a key. Would definitely book again if in the area.
