A beautiful place in the country close to Chipping Camden. We would highly recommend staying here for the Cotswolds experience.
Located in Chipping Campden in the Costwolds region, Badgers Hall B&B is set in a Grade-II listed building dating back to the 15-th century. Loved Chipping Campden. Found it was smaller and less touristy, than some of the other Cotswold towns, but that is what we wanted. Excellent accommodations and restaurants/ pubs/ teas. The Cotswolds feel and scenery is there!! Local bus service to Moreton on Marsh and Stratford
A beaoCotswold town, not overrun by the touristy and designer outlets that you find in tourist hot spots. Most items of interest in the central high street. Interesting church and Manor House nearby main high street.
Easy to get around. Very pretty village. Even though they were resurfacing the road outside The Eight Bells Inn this wasn’t a problem as there plenty of parking spaces nearby. We ate in the Inn on our first night and as we loved it we also ate there in the 2nd night.
Chipping Campden was unbelievably charming. We had a lovely evening in front of the fire at the Noel Arms, a delicious dinner at Huxley's, enjoyed browsing the shops and galleries, and took beautiful walks to Broadway and Blockley. If you don't have a car, there is handy bus service to/from Chipping Campden and surrounding villages, including Stratford. It's the perfect counterpoint to the constant hustle of London.
The High Street is remarkable with nice stores and a variety of goods some of which can’t be found elsewhere. And the ability to take a wonderful hike away from the town in beautiful scenery is unparalleled.
Cute town but very little to see or do. Very limited dining choices and most are closed on Mondays. We came here to walk the Cotswold Way but didn’t realize that involves mostly walking through sheep fields.

We were a group of 8 with various rooms rented. We loved the pub for eating and the breakfast. Location and car park were great. The outside patio was great for drinks on a sunny day. This is a very old hotel. One room was in the attic with no room to walk and it had a toilet that leaked and lights not working. Also, make sure your room is not near the boiler or you will have a very hot stay. Be sure to visit the Fillet and Bone gourmet shop across the street- great wines and cheese and such friendly proprietors.

Karen & Paul were exceptional hosts at their unique & relaxing Inn. We started every day with a delicious, homemade breakfast & looked forward to returning to our comfortable & welcoming accommodations every evening. Karen made several dinner reservations for us, & she & Paul gave us many insider tips to ensure we had an excellent stay. We would certainly stay here again.

The location is fantastic and the price was right. The food in the restaurant was decent (if a little over-priced) and aside from the first woman who checked me in, the staff were very pleasant. The breakfast (included) was top-notch. It's centrally located and has FREE parking (a big bonus is Chipping Campden!)
Great location in a lovely little village with 2 pubs and local Nisa on your door step. The cottage was lovely with everything you need. Owner and staff were so friendly and on hand if need be. Dog friendly with even a doggy bed and ball for your pooch. We thought that was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend

The Volunteer Inn is ideally located for anyone wishing to take part in the offerings of Chipping Campden and the Cotswolds at a reasonable price.. The room, service and breakfast was first rate. The staff was very friendly and totally laid back. The Inn is a small and very busy pub but it did not interrupt the stay. It was fun to overhear everyone chatting and having such a great time - dogs and all.

This was a fantastic property for us to celebrate as 4 couples. Beautiful surroundings and very well equipped and tastefully furnished accommodation. 4 en-suite bedrooms was perfect. A warm and friendly welcome by the owner. The welcome basket was a real bonus. Loved the rustic gazebo in the garden ... perfect for sun-downers.
