Location was great for our trip. Just around the corner from my sister and 10 minutes from my father. The hosts were great and the facilities were good. Nice and roomy compared to a hotel room and cooking and washing facilities included which was perfect for the following week in Italy.

Tanya recently purchased this newer building close to the Northgate train station, with two rooms available on the first floor. She lives upstairs. She previously operated in a historic cottage. She is cheerful, a wonderful host. The room was new, spotless. The bed luxuriously comfortable. Back yard available. I loved her dog! The location is walkable to suburban-type shopping.

This is a beautifully and tastefully restored Victorian house done with an exceptional eye to detail. The decor, the fittings, the linen - are all beautiful. The 2 hosts are delightfully interesting and welcoming people. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is exactly what you want. They ask you what you would like.

    Claypole is a small village, which nevertheless has its own...

    Claypole is a small village, which nevertheless has its own well stocked shop, butchers, pub and coffee shop. Very convenient for a short stay, perhaps sightseeing in nearby Newark -and Lincoln a little further away. Very quiet environment which might be preferable to a town for some. We attended a wedding celebration at the Claypole village hall, with its well looked after and attractive 1920's interior. Village hall facilities include a kitchen, ample seating and tables and children's outside play area.

    Really like the setup of the apartment, set in a quiet location. It has everything you need for a few nights away. Kitchen with oven & hob, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer. Comfy sofa to chill out and watch the TV which has Freeview channels. Plenty for me. Large comfy double bed....very easy to dose off in. I'd definitely stay there again.
