it’s beautiful and quiet - off the beaten path. Although we arrived after 10 pm, which was long after check-in time ended, the staff graciously accommodated our late arrival and made sure we knew exactly where the key was, etc. they could not have been nicer. And breakfast was magnificent, with many options and basically however much, and whatever variety, you wanted.

In a tranquil setting on the banks Loch Awe, Taychreggan, Signature Collection by Eight Continents offers elegant accommodations and high-quality dining.

Setting was great, very vintage with a lot of details and effort put in the overall interior. Our room was really great, cozy with big tub and view at the lake. Cocktails at the bar were delicious! All the people working there were very kind and friendly. Receptionist lady was during our check out giving us all the recommendations for our day with detailed route to follow-so nice!

Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa enjoys wonderful views across Loch Fyne to the Cowal Hills. Offering rooms with attached bathroom, the hotel features a swimming pool and spa.

We loved everything about our stay. Right in the heart of town. Our room was fantastic and the bed super comfy. The staff were wonderful. We ate in the restaurant for dinner; the food was great, same for breakfast. Hot food cooked to order. Would highly recommend this Hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was a highlight of our trip! They put on the game for us, we had drinks and then an extraordinary dinner after an impressive day of travel. Truly one of my favorites and will stay again.

On the shores of Loch Fyne, The Creggans Inn offers rooms with beautiful Loch and garden views and a restaurant. Argyll Forest Park is just 5 minutes’ drive away.

We found this to be a very charming and interesting hotel close enough to the Lake Lomond area but also off the beaten path. We stayed in the superior double room with a sea view and it was very comfortable and spacious. We had one dinner and all breakfasts there and all were delicious. There are lots of charming places scattered around the building which are very interesting and worth exploring. The owner is also the decorator and shell artist in the gift store; she is very talented.

On the Banks of Loch Fyne, The Inveraray Inn, BW Signature Collection is just 5 minutes’ walk from both Inveraray Castle and Inveraray Jail, and offers a bar, restaurant, free Wi-Fi and free parking.
