The room was large and quiet and very clean. The staff were exceptional. We ate in the restaturant at night and the food was brilliant. Would recommend and would certainly stay again.

Very small but great for a quiet weekend for 1-2 people, garden is lovely but in someone garden but never saw them and not an issue, sofa is comfy, bed was great, no noise at all.. nice walks shame pub wasn’t open but all good, fresh eggs 2 door down..

The warm welcoming upbeat staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The bed and bedding fantastic, wonderful sleep. The food was delicious. Central to other areas of interest. Not our 1st visit. Will definitely use this hotel in future.

We loved pretty and quaint Devizes. Great market in the middle of town on Thursday, also other indoor markets open daily. Lovely high street and lots of really old buildings. Nice pubs & restaurants, & a Wetherspoons too. You can book a brewery tour at Wadworths brewery, which is a lot of fun & well worth the money, with beer samples included. The canals are amazing & provide a fantastic walk & scenery. A beautiful market town. Long & short term car parks available. Well worth a visit.

The hotel was very comfortable nicely decorated retaining the old characteristics. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast in the morning had a good choice to set you up for the day. The bonus was being able to park outside the hotel and not having to worry about topping up the machine.

This is a beautiful old market town and although it has expanded much over the passing of time, it has still maintained it's charm. However, there is no ring road so the traffic in the rush hours is very busy.

Lovely old market town. plenty of pubs and a brewery! and also independent cafes and restaurants and shops. Very interesting old streets to walk around and the Kennett and Avon canal and Caen Locks are walking distance. Would like to stay here again.

Lovely old market Town. .Stayed at The Bear Hotel in a super spot with parking However so many shops closed ,and very few quality ones. So many Banks and Charity shops...Not good for the ambience. Devizes is an excellent base to visit so many nearby places of interest Enjoyed the walks along the canal paths

Incredibly quiet considering it was in the middle of the place. Easy walking distance to all that Devizes has to offer - interesting museum, medieval trail, walk along the canal to the famous Caen Hill locks - 29 of them! Welcomed on arrival which was nice. Good breakfast.
