Warborough (Near Dorchester on Thames)
Offering luxurious barn conversion suites around 20 minutes’ drive from Oxford, Court Farm Barns enjoy an beautiful village location in Warborough. We loved the amount of space - having the 2 floors was a real plus. The bed was comfy and the whole area was very clean and tastefully decorated. I loved the spiral staircase - although some people might find it difficult. There was plenty of food provided for the diy breakfast - it was a very relaxed morning as we didn’t have to eat between set times. The owner and her family were very approachable and friendly. It was a pity we only stayed for one night.

Great village full of character with its own mediaeval abbey and nice walks in the village and to the west, the river Thames itself with tow paths and a bridge to Little Wittenham village, and an iron age fort
Dorchester is a delightful village with many older and distinctive properties. Had a lovely walk in the surrounding countryside along the Thames Path. The Abbey was closed when we visited but looks like an interesting place to visit with peaceful grounds.
Gorgeous village with lots of history and beautiful walks both in the village and surrounding countryside. Really easy drive to both Oxford where there is a big car park at Westgate and Benheim. Eat at the Whit Hart. The food and accommodation there are superb.
Lovely village with three excellent pubs. The landlord at the White Hart cannot do enough for you. Traffic is light, the main road runs around the village so traffic noise is not an issue. It is a pretty, typically English village with thatched, and tudor-style houses, with Oxford in easy reach.
Small pretty village if you like character properties ,3 pubs and hotels to stay in . The white hart was the prettiest and the food was excellent ,impressive anglican abbey to visit . Good location to get to oxford from if you use the park and ride at Redbridge approx 15min drive.
