Family run. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. I can't praise this gorgeous place enough! Food was outstanding too. I only had a small single room but it was super cozy! Extra thank you to Thomas and a super special mention to Georgia who was so lovely. As a woman travelling alone, staff are so important and she was amazing! Lovely locals too

Dufton is an amazing northern village where everyone is just so friendly. The post box pantry sold a lovely selection of sweet and savoury treats and the Stagg Inn served a good selection of reasonably priced local Ales. For anyone interested in some really good walks in the local areas or who are doing the Pennine Way, staying at Dufton is an absolute must. Dufton Pike, Dufton Ghyll, High Cup Nick and Murton Pike are all brilliant walks, and we also had fantastic night skies with owls hooting. Couldn't recommend Dufton more!

We went to do a walk on the Pennines way which we have done before but it was very foggy. We returned to have another attempt and this time even though it was extremely windy we had the wonderful views we knew we would be rewarded with.
