Very quick and easy check-in. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. The staff were incredibly responsive and understanding. They got back immediately when I contacted them last minute at 10 pm. Rooms were clean, comfortable and a good size. They offer food delivered to the room from the resteraunt downstairs and get a free coffee in the morning.

When we booked, we asked for a ground floor room as we knew there was no elevator/lift. Initially our room was upstairs but I explained my partner couldn't do the stairs so they looked and found another room. Sadly, the toilet seat was broken or not attached and we explained the problem. So, they moved us to another room on ground floor. Thankfully, they moved our belongings to the new room which was great since we had made plans to meet someone elsewhere and we didn't want to be late. The breakfast was great and we had snacks for dinner even though they did have a restaurant but we were full from our late lunch with friends. We had a lovely stay. Our usual hotel in Sandbach was completely full so we opted for the Bear's Head since they had vacancy.

What a cute and cosy place to stay! Loved how close we were to the animals on the farm and in a great location for nice walks. The owners helped me find the place as my satnav didn't do a good job and nothing was too much trouble 😊thank you both X

Management was friendly and accommodating. The decor was cozy and comfortable; the side door entrance was convenient. I look forward to staying here again.

We wished we’d have stayed for longer. It was so peaceful.

We wished we’d have stayed for longer. It was so peaceful. The lodge was immaculate, everything had been thought out extremely well. The hot tub was so relaxing after a long walk with our dog. He enjoyed his treats too. We visited The Plough twice during our stay and we’d recommend the roast, it was a short, pleasant walk and used the torch provided on our return walk. We visited the Lyme NT and Bollington for some beautiful walks. We would love to return to this cosy cabin. Thank you.
