Travelling for work and got a last minute booking and was treated to a room upgrade. The hosts were lovely, couldn't do enough for me, they got the balance right of being there, friendly and chatty, but also leaving me alone to enjoy my breakfast. The room was beautiful and my vegetarian breakfast the next day was delicious - set me up perfect for the day ahead. The best thing is the bed, so comfortable and the duvet ... well, its the best I've ever slept in ... so much so I need to buy one for my own bed, it was like sleeping in a giant hug.

Staff were great, food amazing and really good beer on the bar. The room was great and absolutely no noise from downstairs. Couldn't ask for more.

Everything about this hotel is superb. Two couples, stayed for two nights whilst attending a wedding in Hawick. Very friendly and helpful owners with staff who take pride in their work. Lovely spacious rooms that were spotlessly clean with large very comfortable beds. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, very well presented by staff who were polite, attentive and very helpful. A credit to their employer. In my opinion, easily the best hotel I have stayed in in Hawick and we will definitely return.

The breakfast was made to order. one simply fills in a sheet with everything they would like for breakfast and submit it the day before. The breakfasts and dinner were exceptional. I didn't expect dinner service to be available, but I got an email from the hotel asking if I would like to order dinner for the night of my arrival! I was sent the menu and has able to order prior to arrival and had dinner the evening we arrived.
