Kesgrave Hall is a wonderful experience, an oasis hidden away on the edge of Ipswich. It’s an old building that has been tastefully modernized and is very comfortable. Excellent dinner and lunch menus accompany a delicious breakfast for guests, and it sits in beautiful grounds that you can stroll around. Well worth the stay!

Wonderful stay at a very comfortable location with a real sense of history. Close enough to walk to town centre and Sutton Hoo, though a taxi is a good idea. Great breakfast.

I really appreciate the flexibility the premises showed me when I was running late due to traffic. The staff were friendly, the room lovely and the facilities in the room great. I particularly enjoyed the biscuits and hot shower after a long and tiresome journey.

The spacious bathroom and lovely bath. Plenty of hot water. Super little kitchen. Lovely views over the pub garden and beyond. Loved the creaky floors. Mind your head as you enter the cottage! Could hear chatter from the pub garden below and bar area but it was not overbearing. I stayed here for a nearby wedding.

The cottage is well located with country walk surroundings. The king size bed is massive. Definitely oversized, probably the biggest bed I've ever seen. It was super comfortable too with fluffy down pillows. I'm hard to please with beds and this has to be the most comfy bed I've ever had. Paul the host was incredibly prompt, helpful and friendly and even provided us with an out of season item we could not find in the stores and told us to take it with us for the rest of our trip. The kitchen was well equipped and there's a washer for your clothes. Lovely pub/restaurant close by that sits on the water, recommended by Paul. We would definitely stay again if we returned to the area. Thank you Paul for a lovely stay.

We loved our stay at Sun Lane Cottage. The cottage was so warm and cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. It was cleaned to a really high standard and had a lovely atmosphere. Fran had thought of everything, from an iron to a clothes steamer and cooking utensils, and even special treats for when we checked in. We managed to get parking directly outside the property, and the cottage was well located for visiting Woodbridge. Fran very generously let us have early check in so we had time to get ready for a wedding that we were attending. It was perfect, and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

The facilities at the Annexe are fantastic.

The facilities at the Annexe are fantastic. From the well equipped kitchen to the comfortable sitting room and bedroom and amazing bathroom. And then there’s the garden and paddock - a safe space for the dogs. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Eyke is about a ten minute drive to Woodbridge, if you like...

Eyke is about a ten minute drive to Woodbridge, if you like river walks, you can park for free at Melton by the train station and walk along the river to Woodbridge in about 30 minutes. You could not walk from the property we stayed in due to the busy roads with no paths but there is a garden centre very close by with a lovely cafe. The Unruly Pig Gastro pub is within a 5 minute drive. If you are looking for a more reasonably priced pub the Wilford Bridge in Melton served delicious pub grub.
