Featuring free WiFi, The Swan Hotel offers accommodations in Eynsham. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Very charming, old hotel in a lovely country village location. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were good. The bus to Oxford is located just out the front door and runs often, so it was really convenient. There's a nice little grocery store a few blocks away. There are also three other pubs (all with food service) within walking distance. The downstairs pub restaurant had the best chips and baked potato (aka jacket potato) we had in England. Overall, it's our favorite place where we stayed in England
Located in Witney, The Evenlode Hotel has a restaurant, bar, garden, and free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. All rooms at the hotel are fitted with a seating area. Location is very easy to find and hotel has recently been renovated to a high standard. Staff were fantastic, especially Sam, Chloe, Carly & Gerald.
Standing on the banks of the River Thames at Eynsham is The Talbot Inn. Just 4 miles from Oxford, this traditional pub offers home-cooked food and rooms with free WiFi. Every think like about this property is in a perfect condition lovely pub lovely people the room was so clean and comfortable only stayed for one night but I would definitely use this again
A 15-minute drive from the center of historic Oxford, this three-story inn is located on the edge of the Cotswolds. Wi-Fi is free throughout The Checkers Inn, and there is free private parking on... The Booking went well. Staff was friendly and accommodating
Featuring a restaurant, a garden, and a terrace, Luxury Barn House - Central Oxford/Cotswolds provides accommodations in Cassington with free WiFi and garden views. The barn was lovely and homely and we want to come and stay again. Excellent location and beautiful surroundings.
Eynsham is a very pretty village with good public transport access to Oxford and the nearby market town of Witney. It is also a pretty good base for exploring villages in the Cotswolds, which are around an hour away.
Fairly unspoilt still - much as I remember growing up there. The people are friendly in shops, cafes and in the street. It was a pity the churches were locked though. I attended St. Leonard's as a girl and would loved to have gone inside. We were amazed at the great bus service into Oxford!
Eynsham is beautiful we loved our time there. I would say to be very carefull of taxi drivers as they tried to overcharge. We took two minicabs for a just under 5 mile journey first driver said £20 on the return journey I was told £45!!! Uber greatly needed in Oxford! Needless to say I gave them both the equivalent fare I would pay in London.
Nice rooms , Good breakfast, friendly owner. Not very well signed , difficult to assertain correct access. Excellent for Oxford and surrounding area. Good 'pubs' nearby , the 'Trout' especially good.
The local authority could do with cutting the hedgerows for pedestrian access, otherwise the place is lovely, we found the bus service into Oxford and surrounding area very good indeed, with lots of information available and very frequent service( unlike the country location in which we live). The local Talbot Inn is good to eat and drink at, with short waiting times for your order despite being very busy.
