IrelandThis was the most unusual and unique place we have ever stayed over. Very beautiful conversion of a mobile home into cosy place near the harbour in Fishguard. We had amazing views from the home in the morning. Breakfast was served in the main farmhouse where we were joined by exceptionally well behaved Celine and Leo (whippets)

ThailandGary was friendly and very accommodating. He came up to show me the flat and had good advice and directions for places around town. The view from the window was second to none. It was warm and had a good TV setup so I was able to watch a couple of films. It was a very nice stay in Fishguard.. I really recommend going to Theatre Gwaun to catch a film.

Convenient for the train and ferry - even though that's not...
Convenient for the train and ferry - even though that's not what I was there for! Good local amenities, buses and walks into Fishguard. Friendly people in shops and restaurants. Pleasant places to sit near the beach, with toilets open during the day.

Goodwick seems a fairly quiet village, the centre doesn't have that many amenities, the hotel, a pub and a small restaurant come takeaway. Just along the road, there's a garage with a reasonable shop.
Might sound odd, but the air had the smell of buddleja flowering everywhere. All seemed pretty peaceful.

We lived in Fishguard some years ago and do come back to...
We lived in Fishguard some years ago and do come back to visit friends and the place itself. We still love the area as much, if not more now than when we were here previously, there’s plenty to see and do and the locals are fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. We are thinking of moving back, that’s how much we love the place!

Goodwick is a very quiet little harbour town, with nothing to really see or do, town centre was very small with only cafes, bar, pharmacy and boots with the odd independent shop. Ok to stop on your way through south wales or as a base to explore.

Not for disabled people. Totally run down. Steep slopes. Only a couple of shops. Pavements and roads need attention. Car park cost £15 for 5 days. Two local cafes were really good. Other than thise cafes there were two fish and chip shops one with Indian food too. Rose and Crown restaurant was very good for breakfast and evening meals. Staff were very friendly and obliging. Other than walking there wasn't much else to do. If you travel 20/30 miles you would reach beaches. As the weather was bad we didn't do the beaches but shopping could be reached about 14 miles away.

A lovely little seaside town, people where very nice and friendly there. Has a nice playground by the sea and great restraunts, could do with a few more places for kids entertainment. Overall lovely place.
