Our main reason for staying in Goosnargh was to visit relatives in Preston. However, we did have time to explore the village. We were pleased that the local church was open so we could have a look around it. There was a pub, chipshop and small shop selling daily newspapers.
Excellent stay. Very friendly and comfortable with good home cooked breakfast. Susan recommended a local pub for our evening meal which had a good range of meals on their menu. Couldn't find any fault and would be happy to stay there again.
Friendly people, beautiful village, easy access to places of interest. Do not eat at the Stags Head. Food was awful and when I said so they didn't care. Didn't even get any reduction. Very greasy and chips tasted of fish. Some other pubs had great food though. Ye Horns Inn was one of them.
