Guiting Guest House is located in the beautiful village of Guiting Power, in The Cotswolds Area of Natural Beauty. The house was originally built in the 16th century and has many exposed wooden beams.... Friendliest owners you could hope for; good breakfast, quiet (not crowded with tourists) location with a few good walking trails passing through the village
Offering a garden and garden view, Lupine Glamping Pod is located in Cheltenham, 12 mi from Cheltenham Town Hall and 14 mi from University of Gloucestershire. I absolutely loved every single thing about the whole experience ! The Notgrove Estate is astoundingly beautiful, a quintessentially English Cotswold village where time stands still. The peace and quiet ,and being surrounded by such beautiful countryside ticked every box for me. Infact, the first thing I did when I got back home was to book up another stay in a few weeks time ! 😀
Offering a garden and garden view, Poppy Glamping Pod is located in Cheltenham, 12 mi from Cheltenham Town Hall and 14 mi from University of Gloucestershire. A beautiful, secluded, countryside setting on a private estate. Enjoy lovely views across the valley whilst eating your breakfast al fresco, and watch the pet alpacas at play from over the fence. There are some great walks to be enjoyed around the estate, and it's a short walk to the cafe cum bar ( bar open on weekends only ) but the cafe is open daily.
The Farmers Arms pub at Guiting is like stepping back in time, but try the food and the speciality Rabbit Pie! Great prices there too. The Hollow Bottom up the road, more modern, but pricier. Halfway House in next village is also great on the food.
A beautiful picturesque village which also has a few walking trails passing through it. Locals are nice and friendly. It is also easy to get to other villages around Cotswolds if on a car (a bit more challenging without it)
My partner and I stayed at the guest house New Year’s Eve and we had a great evening. The room was lovely and cosy and the owners looked after us very well. The amazing breakfast in the morning topped it all off! Thank you from Mat & Heidi
Fabulous base for walking - we didn't move our car all weekend. The village had everything we needed and we loved Guiting Guest House. Really lovely hosts, and a wonderful location. We ate at the Farmers Arms which served lovely bar food and fabulous ale! All in all a brilliant weekend.
I don’t want this unspoiled rural and delightful village to become more visited. It is off the beaten path and I hope it stays that way, for the quality of life for the residents and the joy of those lucky travelers who make the effort to wend their way to this spot in the deepest Cotswolds.
Guiting Power is a lovely, small, quaint village. Many walking paths. Lots of other villages nearby to visit. The scenery is so green and beautiful! If driving, the roads are very narrow and signs are not always clear. Not many places to turn about and locals drive fast.
