Good sized comfortable room. The pub had decent ales and food.

The house had a very bright past but it has not been decored and mantained as it should. The house has more than 300 years but the room shows a 60´s look and feel! Really upsetting. Room was wide and confortable, first floor without stairs. Pictires in booking show a much more fresh anc clean look than reality that is more shabby.
Location is in the suburbs, in a little town 30 min south from Edinburg, you would stay there only if you plan to visit the southerns villages, the beach or Rosslyn Chappel or attend a party as we did.

Nice lunch in Diggorys.
Nice lunch in Diggorys. Good food in The Victoria, good service in both places. But £10 for a glass of wine in Victoria is too much. Its a small town not a city. Small town, not much to do. Half an hour is all you need. So don't expect too much,

Haddington too was a disappointment.
Haddington too was a disappointment. A walk round the high street took less than a couple of hours. There were very few places to eat and after eating in the hotel on our first night (very restricted menu) and travelled to Gifford for dinner on the second evening. There were a couple of brown tourist signs advertising restaurants which we never found, despite taking the car to see if they were further out of town.

Convenient to visit the town's and villages on the coast...
Convenient to visit the town's and villages on the coast east of Edinburgh and Edinburgh it's self. Recommend travel to Edinburgh by Train from Drem as good space in car park. Good restaurant a short walk over the bridge from the hotel Did eat their for three evenings. Nice evening walks around the town.
A super cosy little cabin adjoining a field of Highland coos. I never saw the host but she was super helpful and friendly at every stage of the booking process and offered local information like taxis. It's a little out of the way from Haddington but a short car trip. It's very convenient if you want to access great golf courses like Gullane or North Berwick.
My 3rd visit to this hotel. The staff are lovely, so friendly and helpful.
Very clean with pleasant public areas. Comfortable bedrooms. Very central for the town.
Opposite beautiful church and if you walk through the churchyard you reach the riverbank with a nice walk.
Dog friendly hotel.
Shame restaurant closed at certain times now summer has finished.
We were in Haddington for a family funeral so just needed somewhere to sleep, most of our food was taken with other family members. We appreciated the extras left in the fridge - very thoughtful.
