The historic Lamb dates back to the 12th century and offers a pub, dining room and individually styled bedrooms with satellite TV. Stonehenge is a 25-minute drive away. Had a great stay. Staff were friendly, bed was very comfortable. We would recommend and would stay again if in the area.
Located in its own grounds, nestling next to All Saints Church, The Old Rectory Chicklade offers 4-star bed and breakfast accommodations. Linda and Colin were the perfect hosts. They were very helpful with what to see locally and how to get there via scenic routes. Offered to do a load of washing for us. Breakfasts were great too. Suggested nearby pubs for meals.
Set in East Knoyle in the Wiltshire region, Milton Farm has a garden. The accommodations is 29 mi from Bath, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. The location and setting of this farmhouse was idyllic. The proprietors were lovely and the quaintness of the room and bathroom were a joy. Add to that an incredible English breakfast made from local produce and you have an absolute perfect B&B. Will try and go back again sometime😀
Located in East Knoyle in the Wiltshire region, The Bell House features a patio. The property is 29 mi from Yeovil and free private parking is available. Beautiful, quaint cottage in a quiet village location. The local shop is well stocked and literally across the road. Beds and bedding really comfortable and we all slept well. Some reviews say the bedrooms are small, however we found thern to be perfectly fine (and we are used to a large home); it is a 18th century cottage after all and part of the charm is the traditional cottage vibe. Having said that, it has all mod cons you need and the traditional inglenook fireplace with log burner is lovely. Jane and Rupert left some essential goodies as a welcome, which was much appreciated. All toiletries and cleaning products were provided which is a bonus for travelling a little less lighter. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming cottage and highly recommend.
Such a lovely quiet village, conveniently close to the A303 and the perfect distance for us when travelling up or down country from home in the West Country. We stayed in the Grosvenor Arms which was fabulous in every respect.
There was a book about the history of Hindon in our room, written by a local historian. It was so interesting we bought a copy! Although Hindon is very small it is a place that has been a crossroads of history. I would have liked to have time for a wander round.
A typical and very attractive Wiltshire village with gorgeous architecture. Easy to walk up and down the street gazing at lovely houses and gardens All surrounded by beautiful countryside. Wiltshire in the sun was at its very best.
I would definitely recommend the Lamb Inn! My husband and I loved our room with the patio out back for our morning coffee. Everything was perfect and I would book again if I ever get back to jolly old England!
A really beautiful village. Very peaceful and relaxing. There is another pub which we didn't try as we were very settled in the Lamb Inn. There is also a small village shop which seems to sell everything.
Had a great stay. Staff were friendly, bed was very comfortable. We would recommend and would stay again if in the area.
