The Vicarage is a grade II listed country property in Cranage, hosting 26 individually designed bedrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the avocado and salmon for breakfast, beautiful. We really enjoyed the live music too.
The Cottage is an independent, family-run bed and breakfast that offers good access to the M6 motorway. Free parking is available on site and free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout. We liked everything. The location we chose to be near to family. Evening meal and breakfast excellent. Staff very friendly and polite.
Bess's Cottage is located in Middlewich. The accommodations is 23 mi from Stoke on Trent, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. We enjoyed our stay at Bess’s Cottage, everything we needed was here. We were visiting family who live locally so this was the ideal place for us. There’s plenty of room, the shower is amazing and the bed was extremely large and comfortable.
Set in Middlewich, The Narrowboat Inn Middlewich offers a bar and free WiFi. All rooms in the guest house are fitted with a kettle. Room was spacious, had the most comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had Karaoke on the Friday night which was a great night. Good friendly night. I look forward to staying again.
Located in Sandbach, The Wheatsheaf Hotel, Sandbach features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a restaurant, a bar and a shared lounge. A fridge and coffee machine are also available. Breakfast was really good. Menu service was efficient and can back quickly with delicious food. Impressed with the local area feel of the menu, as well as the quality.
Located in the market town of Middlewich, The Golden Lion Hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, free parking, a bar, and easy access to the Cheshire countryside. We stopped here for one night on a journey to the south coast, the room was a good price breakfast wasn't included but there was a mobile cafe in the carpark bacon sandwich before we left was great.
Having booked the restaurant for two nights prior to our attendance we contracted the Hotel several days before to confirm our dinner reservation to be informed the restaurant was closed on our 2nd night and it could only offer a Buffett meal on the first night... The Buffett failed to cater for vegetarian apart from boiled rice, roast potatoes and mixed veg as the main... Salad and soup as a starter... For the privilege of this poor meal with a drink thrown in it cost £25.00 per person... The kettle in our room wouldn't switch off... We had paper cups,.plastic spoons which melted... The shower was knackered... Our door only partially opened...All in all a very disappointing weekend!!!
Attractive small town within easy reach of NT properties. Countryside attractive, Knutsford another small town nearby with Tatton Park for walks very good. Jodrell bank discovery centre nearby, great for families.
A Friend of ours calls it the "Carnage Hotel' because they have had so many sad things reported to them about this place. De Vere have an amazing location, some friendly staff, but little coordination and poor room service for Continental Breakfast. There is a space in the Printed Room Information called Room Service but there is nothing with this. The woman at Reception told me they are revising what they offer for Room Service. Surely they can do better than this!
Chose this hotel for Blue Dot festival as I wanted a bit more character than the conference centre hotel of last year. Not a deal of difference. Bed was tiny, constant background music was torturous and breakfast was overpriced. Not what I expected at all, Place has huge potential but not there yet.
Easy access beautiful surroundings and staff all very polite and happy Deluxe rooms looked onto garden area and comfortable beds and pillows. Also bottled water in rooms. Maybe some extra milk for your coffee but not a big issue as you can always ask for more Great shower and lovely toiletries supplied too
Great for a day if you fancied a trip to a clean and relaxing pool and spa. Also great for a drop in breakfast! Not great if you fancied a 4 star room. You can hear your neighbours every move because of the paper thin walls and the rooms were set in all I can describe as halls of residence in a university. The phones in the room were older than me and certainly nothing like the spec on the photos shown to sell the place!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the avocado and salmon for breakfast, beautiful. We really enjoyed the live music too.
