Overlooking the River Bure, this black-and-white timbered lodge offers a cozy pub with seasonally inspired food. The Southern Comfort paddle boat is moored just outside the property. The breakfast area location was great, we did not have the cooked breakfast as we needed to leave early.

Lovely part of the Broads to explore, not far from Wrxoham. Great place for walking, cycling, boating, bird watching, plenty of places to eat and drink. We recommend The Galley, tea room and gift shop, very friendly staff with local knowledge.
A small village with just basic facilities including post office and small general store. There are however good little cafe/restaurants and three very nice riverside pubs all offering meals. The ability to sit and watch the holiday mariners can be very entertaining whilst if you wish to join them there are rental day boats easily available in Horning. A great place for a short break.
Boats everywhere and river right outside the door. Lots to look at and lovely outside eating area to watch the world go by from. Opportunities to hire boats and bikes and /or book boat trips. Short pleasant drive to lovely coast and other fine walks and heritage areas. Very quiet at night (though two nice pubs and a seafood restaurant open at night). Would not suit anyone who wanted very lively nightlife.
Location is restful. On the side of the river. Quiet little village with a number of quirky shops, tea rooms and eateries. You can take the 'Southern Comfort' a traditional river boat, for a trip along the river with the owner providing a really interesting commentary on the history of Horning. Lots of wildlife and a relaxing atmosphere as you stroll around the pretty village.
Lovely views from our accommodation. Highly recommend this place. Friendly staff, nothing was too much for them! We loved the trip on the Southern Comfort paddle steamer, the captain was very knowledgeable and informative. We ate at the pub for Sunday dinner which was very nice. We had our own car, so went out every day to different places. Would definitely visit again if in this neck of the woods.
Very nice place to visit next to the broads with beautiful views or just sit and watch the boats go by, or even hire one,There are a few little shops in the village and a very nice takeaway.the tea room just down from the swan pub makes very nice food and there breakfast is excellent recommend, also recommend a evening trip on the paddle steamer felt very safe with all there safety in place.

Hannah is a superb hostess: Nothing is too much trouble. The property is immaculate and really well situated, especially near the moorings at Ludham Bridge. You can sail there and walk back to Hall Farm. I have fallen in love with the Broads and will certainly return, I'll also be telling all my sailing friends about this gem of a property! THANK YOU Hannah for taking care of our special holiday :)

Everything ! Although stated that there's no WiFi , there actually is . We were lucky enough to see an otter , from our lounge , come up and eat a fish right in front of the house . Also saw a kingfisher from our lounge . Short walk to the Ferry Inn for food. Comfy chairs and settees .

What a fantastic place to stay in a fantastic setting! Plenty of space for our large family, local pubs and shop so you don’t need to travel far for essentials. Perfect view of the boats passing by from the lovely garden. The hosts have been fantastic too and very responsive.
Location very good, very short staffed, had to wait at least 30 minutes for a drink, due to short staffed food took a long time if available, even the next pub was not serving at the times advertised, staff were very good.
