we had an overnight stay at the Days Inn on our journey to...
we had an overnight stay at the Days Inn on our journey to Loch Ness and stayed again on our way home. Perfect spot and dog friendly. We should have booked on line to stay on the way home as it cost us more to just drop in.

We like the room (Room 1), as it had a balcony with a view...
We like the room (Room 1), as it had a balcony with a view over the lake as well as having twin beds and a bath. Hotel was an ideal location for us to stop off on our journey home. Was near to Loch Lomond and the Trossochs.

For a hotel in such a busy area with the amount of footfall it receives, it is a very well kept property. It was early March on our visit and to wake up in the morning with a view across the lake it surpassed our expectations.
It is easy to recommend the Days Inn at Lockerbie.

Clean Basic Accomodation with little food or entertainment choices in evening - mostly Mc D. A view of the lake rather than the car park would have been nice.
Our TV didn't work and we were told that it could not be fixed as an engineer was not available. All in all this hotel is fine if you just need a quiet overnight motorway stop and somewhere to put your head down.
Moffat is a lovely town ten minutes up the road and worth a visit. If it hadn't been torrential rain when we arrived we might have ventured out rather than eat processed food and be dissapointed by a constantly stuttering internet based TV.

very nice clean hotel with superb views the only down side was very poor catering supplied by fast food operators the hotel are going to try to amend this by getting their own catering. would recomend days inn's and use again providing catering is nearby.

Wish I was staying longer than we did but it was a pit stop...
Wish I was staying longer than we did but it was a pit stop . We were going further north for are main holiday. I will remember the grate hot bath for a long time and the very good staff. Thank you.

The hotel was very easy to access, spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and the bed was very comfortable. Definitely worth paying the small amount extra for a lake view room with a balcony. Stunning view and the perfect way to start my Scottish road trip. Highly recommend! I couldn’t hear any traffic noise.

I have been to this hotel on numerous occasions as a stop of on the way home, it was lovely and clean and warm and if you stipulate a lake view in your booking this is what you get. It is very good value for money.

I always try to stay here to break a journey up heading south. By no means a luxury hotel but always clean , comfy and lovely views with a lakeside room.
