This is as good a private hotel as anywhere you could hope for. The two dogs added fun and the breakfast was superb. Also a very good recommendation for a local restaurant. Thank you Christine

Very spacious apartment, with all the facilities needed. The host lady was friendly and on site if any help was needed. The environment was very peaceful and soothing. Lovely animals in the fun, cute little chicks if you like animals! The welcoming bottle of wine was a sweet touch :) The host provided a folder with useful information and a bit story of their farm, rather interesting. Will stay again in the future!

Set in Knitsley in the Durham region, Chestnut Cottage has a garden. The accommodations is 22 mi from Sunderland, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. Location excellent, very private.. Cottage very clean. Nice outdoor seating area.

The Byre, Knitsley is located in Durham, 12 mi from Palace Green and 12 mi from Durham Cathedral, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. Excellent and up to date quality facilities in the property, TV with Netflix. Coffee, tea and sugar provided. There was tabs supplied for the Dishwasher and washing machine. Been able to exit from the other entrance to the site which had a far better view of traffic than the main entrance. Very quiet location.
