The Annapurna Guest house is located away from the main Lingwood village. Lingwood is a quiet place with a single grocery store, quite a distance from the resort. So, either order your grocery online to be delivered, of the use of a car is essential.

Peaceful setting which has plenty of space for kids to enjoy the wildlife, including ducklings, at the duck pond, bats and wildflowers. Clean, spacious accommodation with good overall facilities. A few issues with a broken washing machine and the furniture, especially mattresses could do with an update, they're a bit tired. Having said that we all had a great time and slept well. Can't review the staff as it's self check in, but everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. All in all value for money.

The only good thing about this place was the setting and the horses. I don't feel that we had a warm welcome, we were not shown around but just escorted to our room and pointed in the direction of our bathroom across the hall. The bathroom was very dirty, the lock didn't work so I would not let my children shower in there and also there were no products to use which I found to be very strange. The beds were very uncomfortable, the mattress springs could be felt. There was a stain on my sheet as well. There was no provision of any hand sanitiser on entry or anywhere else in the building that I saw which left me feeling very unsafe due to the current situation with Covid 19. When we left in the morning, the owner stuck her head out of a door and said are you off....goodbye which o found to be very dismissive and I wasn't given the opportunity to say what was on my mind. I'm a single mum who works 2 jobs to afford to rent a house for me and my kids so £90 is a lot to spend on a nights stay (no breakfast included) and then to be so disappointed.

I really liked the county house feel. The use of the grounds and (we had good weather) sitting outside in the evening. Tea and coffee provided. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. Lingwood is very central with easy access to the coast or the city, plus some very good local restaurants, cafes and pubs. I am sure I will return (I certainly hope so)

There is a paddock right next to the cottage with a pony in - she’d had a foal the night before we arrived and the kids loved stroking her. The pony (Fossie) loves apples which she’ll eat from your hands so do take some if you’re staying. Spar supermarket in Lingwood only 5 mins drive away. Good playpark on Post Office road about 5 mins drive.

We didn't stay in the accommodation as it was not fit for purpose. The room was far to small for 2 adults & 2 golden retrievers. Also due to the current situation we would of been scared / unhappy in using the communal eating areas
