I personally loved the location. It is a bit out of town from Conwy, but it is on a very nice piece of land with nearby mountain views. The breakfast was one of the best meals I had during my trip in the UK - pancakes, boiled eggs set to your preferred doneness, meats, cheeses, breads, even fresh honeycomb! The room was very quiet and spacious, and the bed was quite comfortable.

Lovely family run hotel in quiet stunning setting , friendly staff that literally couldn’t do enough for you. Room was well appointed had decent coffee machine, kettle, teabags, milk. Food in restaurant was exceptional and not too expensive considering standard. Would stay here again. Even done a plate with brownie and ice cream for wife’s birthday with smiley face 😂 brill. The rooms overlooking the fields are especially amazing! Both our two rooms and rest of the facility were beautiful! Staff was very friendly. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. In fact, fish and chips at dinner (with curry sauce) was among best of our entire trip to UK. Great location near Conwy, but in the gorgeous countryside. I will definitely recommend The Groes Inn to everyone and return in the future!

We loved the beach and the coastal walks in unspoilt and beautiful scenery. Fish and chips from The Jolly Fryer was excellent quality and value. We ate it on the prom watching the sunset. A short rail journey from the town took us to the stunning medieval town of Conway where we especially liked the Elizabethan house and the guided walk with James from Conwy Guided Tours. Turkish coffee at The White bakery with classical music was a delight.

Llanfairfecgan is a lovely quiet seaside town. There are a number of cafes and takeaways but most close quite early so it is worth checking the times as the food is excellent. Lots of nice local walks either along the coast or up into the hills. Popular with dog walkers and windsurfers.

It’s a small village which is lovely and quiet and away from the busy tourist areas in Conwy. There’s a few shops and takeaways. There’s a beach but it’s not sandy- if you want a sandy beach then it’s just a few mins drive to the next junction and there’s a huge sandy beach but check tide times as we missed out a couple of times when the tide was in so the beach had gone! There is a gorgeous restaurant called the Sea Grass that is at llanfairfechan beach front- see photos. The food here is great and such a relaxed atmosphere. Make sure you ring and book a table in advance, it’s booked up quickly. It’s really close to Conwy, Llandudno and Anglesey. Rhyl is about 30 mins away too. It’s a perfect area as a base, there’s so many places to go that doesn’t involve a long drive. For families we’d recommend Greenwood forest park- absolutely brilliant for kids! There’s rides and loads of other activities there. Also SC2 in Rhyl was great- it’s an indoor water park with slides and fun stuff for kids. Zip world was also a big hit! The forest rollercoaster was brilliant but make sure you book online early. They also have tree top courses, bouncy nets etc. There’s loads of places in the area to visit and activities to do.

Llanfairfechan is a small quiet coastal town within easy reach of all that North Wales has to offer being located on the edge of Snowdonia and beautiful scenery. It has pubs, shops, a supermarket, places to eat in, takeaways, a promenade for enjoying a quiet walk, a golf course and many stunning walks are situated just outside the town for hiking. It is easily accessed off the A55 and also has a train station if you don't want to drive.

Everything!! The welcome, attention to detail, and thoughtful gifts on arrival. Much appreciated. Breakfast outstanding, comfortable dining room. Llanfairfechan is a stunning location that is perfect for anyone who wants to explore North Wales, within easy drive of llandudno and conwy, Eryri etc. Perfect for us as dropping our daughter back to Bangor University. This is a lovely, cosy studio/cottage in the beautiful village of Llanfairfechan. It's modern and nicely furnished with a (very comfortable) pull-down bed. It's about a 5 minute walk to the village, where you'll find a couple of nice pubs and some shops. The sea also isn't too far away. The hosts, Fiona and Paul are extremely friendly and helpful.

The apartment was very clean, well-furnished and living areas were comfortable for our family of 5. Easy to access via directions and a grocery is also within walking distance and the building architecture of the Llanfairfechan township is amazing. Views of the beach from the loft and overall, the accommodation felt safe and quiet.
