Village Hotel Maidstone is just 328 feet from the River Medway. It is also just 5 minutes' drive from Maidstone's center, with direct access to the M20 motorway.

We were on a walking tour of Kent and had spent the day in fields and forests. The Village Hotel was just what we needed for a relaxing evening and night. We had dinner in their restaurant, and it was crowded but spacious enough to let everyone spread out. The bed was so comfortable, and the shower was amazing....just the thing for two pilgrims to get back onto their path to Canterbury the next day, refreshed and renewed!

This Days Inn is just off the junction 8 of the M20 motorway and 3 miles from Maidstone town center. It offers free parking and rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Well, I was very surprised at the Days Inn and will hopefully be back again in a few months. It says it’s a service station hotel so I didn’t expect much but to my surprise, it was much better than some other well known and advertised places I’ve stayed in. The bed was comfy. The room was clean, and a good size, and well looked after. Just next door is the service station where I went for something to eat for dinner and then again for breakfast before leaving. Thank you for my stay, I was well impressed.

I liked the location and chose this hotel in between my work travel because of the pool as i like to keep my fitness regime. Only to get there and find out pool is not working. This should have been made clear in your site. Disappointing.

WE didn't see a lot of Maidstone - we were using it as a base to visit National Trust properties in Kent. WE feel we, perhaps, missed out on the galleries and museums and other tourist attractions in Maidstone itself - but just didn't have the time to do that, too.

great walk along the river though some of the path near Aylesford was closed and the diversion was not clearly marked. Loved Motte Park. Museum interesting and very helpful staff. Four meals in different restaurants all lovely and worth going back to.

I liked the quiet environment, the hot water bath, comfortable bedding and friendly staff. However I was upset by the window opening restrictions as I naturally enjoy fresh air from outside when it is hot.

Maidstone is a good base for exploring Kent, a truly beautiful county. On this occasion I was just passing through. In the evening I took the train to West Malling (8 minutes from Maidstone East). This is a pretty and quite large village with plenty of pubs and restaurants. It was nice to get out of town for a bit.

I like Maidstone, the shopping is excellent, plenty of pubs & restaurants', Maidstone has a one way system which can be very busy at times. But there is plenty to see and do in the town and around the local area.
