This Days Inn is just off the junction 8 of the M20 motorway and 3 miles from Maidstone town center. It offers free parking and rooms with free Wi-Fi. I do stay at the hotel a few times a year. Staff have always been friendly and helpful and even after a long night, the night staff were equally friendly and helpful. I had a couple of queries about my next stay and reception was so helpful in answering them. Always enjoy my stay.

This rural Inn is set in a peaceful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 4.5 miles from magnificent Leeds Castle. It offers charming, individually styled rooms with Wi-Fi and a lovely garden. The room was in good clean condition and suited our needs as a family of four with 2 young kids. The pub was excellent and served amazing food at a fair price. The table service was friendly, quick and efficient and the staff chatted to our girls, which made the whole thing reminiscent of a time BC (Before Covid). The pub took precautions very seriously and I felt safe with my family.

The Black Horse Inn, Tudor Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club, and Innkeeper's Lodge Maidstone got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Maidstone.
Not my first stay this one was dreadful. Illegal lorry and van parking outside of room caused all the noise and lack of sleep issues. Engines running switching on and off, drivers talking, sorting out trailers in small hrs, horns going on small hrs. Must be regular thing as no shortage of vans and lorries stopping there for hours at a time instead of using lorry Park further away. Heating not working room very cold. No one responding to complaint left on voice mail and in surveys. Clock broken in room, given one bath towel no hand towel. No additional blanket for cold.
I only went to visit Leeds Castle. I thought about visiting the town but was put off by the many motorways and main roads. It didn't seem very accessible. A visit to Leeds Castle is doable in an hour. Spending much longer is a waste of time. There are better places to go locally: National Trust, Hever Castle ... this is very limited. I can't comment on the inside of the castle - that would have m,eant waiting another 45 minutes before I could go home and get some sleep after a dreadful stay.
We visited Leeds Castle, we were so impressed. The grounds were immaculate, Castle beautiful and what a setting. Crazy golf and play areas for children brilliant. Plenty of food and drink outlets. Last but not least Bird of Prey show very well narrated.
The reason for our stay was to go to headcorn for a spitfire flight so maidstone was not our priority. We were not impressed with it anyway, the river was nice, but facilities poor, not cafes open, a bit scruffy and run down, we were dissapointed with maidstone.
It was lovely’ bed was so comfortable’ and spacious’ nice to fall into after a long drive’ the shower and bath were superb’ decor was a bit tired ‘ we couldn’t have patio door open in the night to let fresh air in ‘ because people were outside smoking’ not a fan of air condition in the room ‘ we had a meal in the restaurant’ meal was very tasty’ parts of the food were really hot ‘ plates were cold ‘
I only stayed for a two days but I could have stayed two weeks. My husband and 9 year old grandson had a great time so much to do out and about, finished off trip with shopping at the mall and a visit to Leeds castle which was unbelievably beautiful with so much for the adults and children. Eating out and about was very good as well, we also enjoyed the Kent life farm, we are still talking about Maidstone, and we don't even live that far away did not know there was so much to do. Definately going back, planning my Christmas shopping and stay there. 🎄
I travelled to this hotel for Work and to see family! During my journey to the venue, I phoned the hotel to ask whether I could be granted early check-in. The lady I spoke too stated that this could not be the case, when I arrived a gentleman named Gideon greeted me and offered me an early check-in when I explained the phone conversation I had earlier with a customer service advisor that was not based in the maidstone hotel. I loved my stay, it was so peaceful and my room was super duper clean. Thank you again!
The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful! There was so much parking and it was very easy to get into town. We walked along the medway and got a taxi back. The starbucks on site was a great asset and there is also a pool. There was a wedding at the venue during our stay. There was no noise pollution in the hotel or our room 😊
The little cabins all face onto a grass area, so unlike a hotel you can leave the door open for some fresh air. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. We didn’t have evening meal but the menu did look appetising. Good value, about 10 minute drive from Maidstone. Plenty of parking. Dog friendly too !
Location was good for our requirements, service area facilities were good, but as you'd expect from a motorway services, prices were a little higher than town centre outlets.
Perfect stay close to Maidstone hospital where my daughter was having surgery. Staff extremely helpful. Very quaint English hotel.
Location is very nice, the hotel facilities are excellent, parking was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Staff were very friendly, good breakfast and dining area, easy parking, nice swimming pool, good location.
Unfortunately there really wasn't much we liked about the hotel.
Location close to station and town center. Outside space garden.
