We were a big wedding party so we were all accommodated across the cottages and hotel which was great. Large, comfortable bedrooms. Easy parking. Bikes for rent. Wish we could have enjoyed the property a bit more but we were out for most of the day. Thank you for posting the items we left behind; we really appreciate it.

The atmosphere of this place is really cool, lively bar and love the quirky features in the rooms. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and breakfast in the morning was delicious and very good quality, loved that you could choose how you wanted your eggs. Despite the lively atmosphere downstairs in the evening, my room was peaceful and couldn't hear downstairs at all. Check in and check out were both easy and appreciated that the invoice for my trip was emailed to me straight away saving me from chasing up afterwards. My room had a beautiful bathroom with lovely bathtub and shower. Bed was huge and mattress very comfy but the pillows were quite hard.

The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. She upgraded my room when she saw I was tall. There was a fanction in the evening, and it was noisy. I was so tired, I would have slept on the dance floor so it didn't bother me. I booked a table in the restaurant as I don't know Yeovil. The dinner and the breakfast were good.
Martock is a quaint Somerset village. There is a pub in the village and this lovely hotel with wonderful dining.
Our daughter lives nearby as she is a tattoo artist in the next village South Petherton, so we come and stay here when we want to spend quality time with her. The hotel is spotless and has everything you could need. The staff are just lovely and cannot do enough for you.
The food in the hotel is yummy, the best tasting food - the chef should have an award
The bar doesn't open till 6pm so if you arrive early you can take a drink in your room, many of which have a patio or you could explore the area and pop into the local pub

Martock is a quiant town with not a lot going on, in fact the White Hart is probably the most lively place there but it is lovely if you want a quiet getaway. It is also about 3 miles away from the golf club and the Deveonshire Arms which, for me, was where a wedding was being held. This made the White Hart perfect for my trip.
We had a meal in the White Hart which was lovely and the rest of the food we ate was at the Devonshire Arms and the golf club, I would reccomend Martock to anyone
Location excellent for us . Had three cottages close to each other in lovely close . Ideal for us as family wedding nearby eight minute drive to the wedding venue White Barn Frogmary Farm . Table of six ( groom and friends ) had an excellent evening meal at the hotel the night before the wedding .
Brilliant Hotel and Restaurant plus a hidden gem within the area. Great facilities and in a lovely quiet location with amazing food and beverages available. The rooms are super big and most have their own courtyard area as well, ideal for chilling on a summers evening. Recommend this venue.
Unbelievable value for money, I will be back here whenever I stay in Somerset. Everything taken care of that you might need, plenty you wouldn't even find in £200+ hotel rooms. On my low budget I felt spoiled and looked after. Can't wait to return.
The location was ideal for visiting family. The hotel is very well laid out and has all the facilities needed. Prompt and efficient service from staff, and even extra support to deal with an issue that arose during the visit.
