With a garden and a terrace, The Old Pilchard Works is located in Mousehole,Penzance and offers free WiFi. A beautiful room in a stunning location. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything was clean and stylish. Tracey was a friendly host to deal with before and during our stay.
Honeysuckle Cottage by The Sea is located in Mousehole and offers a tennis court. The property is 29 miles from Falmouth. Amazing beautiful area . Cottage was lovley . We had milk flowers and biscuits. When we arrived so thoughtful. People lovley friendly. I wanted to stay longer. Very upset to go. And will definitely be booking to go back.
Cobbles Loft is located in Mousehole. The property is 29 miles from Falmouth. A beautifully designed and decorated apartment in a great location close to the harbour in Mousehole. It has everything you need for a week away as well as some nice added touches such as binoculars and rock pool nets.
Absolutely amaIng place! Lamorna cove hotel was clean adequate and lovely staff just an amazing holiday kids enjoyed everything. Stunning location you will not be disappointed! The little cafe in the cove serves amazing food, English breakfast is a must! Cakes exceptionally good! Pool was gorgeous only dowfall was is was not heated other than that it was perfect, we still used the pool it was just a bit cold but have the best fun anyway. Staff were very helpful they accommodated every request, a seriously amazing place would highly recommend to all. My dog loved the walks, he was in doggy heaven!
Sweet Cornish town - I visited during winter which was very nice, however I soon learned that few people live in Mousehole proper - most homes are cottage lets. That said, very picturesque and great place for understanding Cornish history - easy to get to Penzance via public transport.
With just 3 nights, we were able to take a circular walk to Lamorna Cove, explore Mousehole, Paul and Penzance. If we had stayed longer, it would have been great to see the Minnack Theatre in Porthcurno, Land's End and St. Ives.
A fabulous holiday destination. Extremely friendly people if you stop and chat. So proud of where they live and what the area has to offer. Great restaurants serving superb food. Fresh local ingredients and because of that you might not get what you are after if the fishermen have not been successful on their daily fish. Beautiful walks and a short drive to many beautiful beaches, coves and the outdoor Minack Theatre. Try the local ice cream! Jelbert’s is recommended, and it’s nice but there is better in my view. Great pasties from Hole Deli and sausages to die for from the Post Office and general stores. A must is also dinner at No 2 Fore Street. Be aware this is a working harbour and streets are very narrow and no one-way systems operate, so be respectful and careful of the environment and fellow drivers. Cant wait to go back!
The Ship Inn was a warm, friendly pub on the harbour which serves excellent beer and food ! There are a number of art galleries and a couple of boutique shops which are lovely. Jessica's dairy sells lovely Cornish pasties and delicious ice-cream. And is was lovely strolling around this sprawling village taking in the sea air. Mousehole is not far from Falmouth or Geevor tin mine (well worth a visit) and there are lovely walks along the coast. No-one is in a rush and it is just a very charming place to stay, perhaps, to allow time to stand still a little.
Our main reason for visiting Mousehole, was for the Christmas harbour lights and carol event. An excellent occasion with so much care and attention given to it by the Harbour Lights team. A worthy cause to contribute to, so as to support all of those involved and who benefit locally. Local walks to Newlyn & Penzance were easy and worthwhile too and the coastline; WOW! The Ship Inn & Hole Deli were two local venues we certainly enjoyed and would recommend to visitors. With easy access to St. Ives and Hayle, Mousehole is somewhere we are pleased to have taken time to get acquainted with and we are sure other visitors will agree too.
Tracey, who runs the B&B, was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The garden room was very comfortable with good en-suite shower room, and separate entrance . Everything was spotless and there were some nice touches such as the fresh wild flowers. Tea, coffee and biscuits were supplied daily. The B&B is situated in the centre of Mousehole, so very close to all facilities. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice, high quality and delicious.
Fabulous, comfortable and cosy. Felt really homely, and only a few yards from the famous Mousehole harbour where we took our morning tea out to drink in the morning. Clean and safe, lots of extras to make it Covid safe too. Abbey Net Loft had everything we needed for a lovely stay.
The cottage is centrally located so good for accessing restaurants etc in Mousehole. It has all the facilities in the cottage you need including a washer/dryer. It’s small inside one up and one down but perfect as a base just for two.
House was immaculate, all facilities superb quality including beds, linen, shower and kitchen, excellent location - easy walking distance to all Mousehole attractions.
Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Great location in the centre of Mousehole.
The location was perfect for our five night stay in Cornwall
