Located in Mousehole in the Cornwall region, Mole Cottage, Mousehole is a 4-star property featuring free WiFi. Such a lovely cottage in a perfect location. Our first visit to Mousehole and it didn’t disappoint, we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere. Mole cottage is so great, made such a nice change from staying in a hotel. Very clean and well presented throughout. The welcome gifts of biscuits and cream tea were very appreciated (and needed!!!). Guest book and guidance provided was perfect, I would excitedly stay here again if we visit the village again. .

The location is amazing and the village /harbour gorgeous. Beware the roads in to Mousehole are incredibly tight for most vehicles and watch out for parking. It cost us £11 for overnight parking, which could be booked online via the GoPark app. There may be cheaper options, but parking is limited in the area. Don't let the roads or parking put you off though. Mousehole is a gem of a place. The pub had an excellent quiz on (Thursday night) and live music advertised for Friday (which we didn't see)
Beautiful place, peaceful during our time there, which admittedly was February.. I imagine in the height of summer, the little streets would be difficult to navigate. The Ship pub is fantastic, staff were friendly and the food was lovely. Excellent chips! They are also dog friendly, providing a treat station, with a water cooler and dishes. Just about every table had a dog under it when we ate there!
Park initially in the large car park just at the entrance to the village (coming from Newlyn) in order to unload luggage. However, leaving the car there overnight costs £11. The harbour car park is £5 overnight but quite small. You can park in lay-bys before the village for free but may have a 10 minute walk into the village.
Sweet Cornish town - I visited during winter which was very nice, however I soon learned that few people live in Mousehole proper - most homes are cottage lets. That said, very picturesque and great place for understanding Cornish history - easy to get to Penzance via public transport.
With just 3 nights, we were able to take a circular walk to Lamorna Cove, explore Mousehole, Paul and Penzance. If we had stayed longer, it would have been great to see the Minnack Theatre in Porthcurno, Land's End and St. Ives.
A fabulous holiday destination. Extremely friendly people if you stop and chat. So proud of where they live and what the area has to offer. Great restaurants serving superb food. Fresh local ingredients and because of that you might not get what you are after if the fishermen have not been successful on their daily fish. Beautiful walks and a short drive to many beautiful beaches, coves and the outdoor Minack Theatre. Try the local ice cream! Jelbert’s is recommended, and it’s nice but there is better in my view. Great pasties from Hole Deli and sausages to die for from the Post Office and general stores. A must is also dinner at No 2 Fore Street. Be aware this is a working harbour and streets are very narrow and no one-way systems operate, so be respectful and careful of the environment and fellow drivers. Cant wait to go back!

Tracey, who runs the B&B, was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The garden room was very comfortable with good en-suite shower room, and separate entrance . Everything was spotless and there were some nice touches such as the fresh wild flowers. Tea, coffee and biscuits were supplied daily. The B&B is situated in the centre of Mousehole, so very close to all facilities. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice, high quality and delicious.
The cottage was super clean, very comfortable bed and lovely fluffy towels. The car park is opposite and Mousehole is delightful! The host gave some great recommendations for restaurants which we tried and they were exceptional - The Old Coastguard opposite the cottage and No 2 Fore Street just a short walk away.
