Set in Painswick in the Gloucestershire region, Tibbiwell Lodge offers accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a Full English/Irish breakfast.... Janine and Richard have been super welcoming. As Janine owns two very well behaved and friendly dogs, the property is pet friendly and we enjoyed the dogs company. Our dietary requirements have been taken into considerations for the morning breakfast. The B&B has a very relaxing atmosphere: we had breakfast with other guests around the same table and we felt like home. The bathroom was clean as well as the room. The view from the balcony is quite nice and we liked the fact that the area is silent and full of nature.

Interesting church with unusual features such as a model of Sir Francis Drake's flagship and a soldier's graffiti from the English Civil war. The churchyard is deservedly famous for its 99 yews and had an impressive timber lych gate as well. Village built from attractive stone and with many old houses. We went to the Rococco gardens to see the snowdrops and noted they had some information leaflets about Painswick village - we hadn't been able to find tourist information in the village itself, maybe not open on a February Tuesday. We spent a very enjoyable day at Slimbridge, including a visit to Sir Peter Scott's house. Also visited Cheltenham. Both easy trips by car.
Beautiful, unspoilt Cotswold village with chocolate box looks. ALso has some good/great restaurants and a lovely local pub. The Church and its grounds are lovely and the location makes it coneveient for trips around the Cotslwolds.
Sweet village, with lovely walks throughout. Very dog friendly, with doggy bags and bins throughout - even at St Mary's across the street from where we were staying. The Rococo Gardens welcomes leashed dogs. Wonderful place.
Very pretty village, lovely church and setting, but quiet, the cafe was shut so we went to Stroud town just down the road which was very pleasant and had more going on for us. Ate at the Falcon pub very nice food and atmosphere
Lovely picteresque village, we ate at the Painswick Hotel superb food and service. We stayed at the Falcon in the centre of town excellent base to tour the local area. The food and ales were excellent very friendly helpful staff, we will return to this dog freindly hotel.
Painswick is a lovely quiet little town with Cotswold charm. Not much to do there but worth a stroll. Everyone we met were friendly and there a few places to have a drink and dinner. Although just passing through we really enjoyed our stay.
