The Corner Rooms is offering accommodations in Pembroke Dock. The property offers free private parking and free WiFi. Starting with the location which is one minute from the train station, to easy check-in. We reached our room which was really spacious, well equipped and had two comfy beds. Two shared bathrooms which were both spotlessly clean and welcoming. We loved our stay at The Corner Rooms so much we literally did not want to leave.

Generally fine. Travelling from Ireland to a family funeral in Milford Haven. Location is a few minutes drive from the deceased's home. Have been through Pembroke Dock many times in the past. On previous occasions we visited several of the towns and attractions in the general area. Altogether a nice part of Wales.
If you're going to Pembroke to visit friends like we were it was fine but not a place to stay too long as there wasnt lots to do in Pembroke. However it was easy to visit other places in Pembrokeshire from there.
Pembroke Dock is a seedy place. Its not the kind of town that would add value to a weekend break. The best places however are around 8-10 miles away so if you can put up in Pembroke dock the incentives would be to travel to another area.
The dock area is not really for tourists but it was a good base area for travelers to visit the local area there was a local shop for us to stock up for our picnics. The restaurant we visited whilst out were at the neyland yacht club fabulous food fresh fish only 10 minutes away at milford avon also the jolly sailor in same area had a small lamb dinner which had about half a lamb on the plate good job we had a small portion. But the hotel dophin serve a good meal good portions and lovely food. We just like traveling around for a change
There are plenty of places to visit within 45 minutes drive. Lots of historic castles including Pembroke which was close by and worth a look. We visited Tenby and Caldey Island which we really liked. We had a meal at the Ferry Inn, Pembroke Dock which was very good.
The location is close to beautiful beaches, coastal pathways and family attractions. We didn't stay in Pembroke Dock itself, it was Milford Haven so not sure about eating out as we ate at our Hotel.
The Helm was excellent: The room was comfortable and had all I needed. It’s the food and drinks that I need to tell you about however. All home-made, the food was not only well prepared, it was in good sized portions and well thought-out. Good home-cooked family food is at the heart of it all. The chicken liver pâté was extremely good, with fresh herbs and brandy. The steak and ale pie was similarly perfect, with a rich and tasty sauce and melt-in-the-mouth beef in good sized chunks. The beer was well kept and a good variety was present, with good lager and a range of cider too. Gin in many different craft forms completed the well-stocked bar that really did stand out. I spoke with the owner and his partner for some time and we talked about food and he even gave me some tips on where I have been going wrong with my culinary adventures. All in all, a great place to stay with excellent meals you won’t be disappointed with. Thank you.
Room was clean, beds were comfy and sheets were clean, shower was decent pressure and warm, staff very polite and helpful, parking was fine and plenty to occupy in the local area of an evening.
