Beautiful hotel, in a lovely location. Really modern design, fresh and clean. Couldn't comment on the facilities as we didn't use anything. But the restaurant looked nice and there are walking/jogging trails around the Lakes.

The location was perfect for what we needed. The living area seemed lovely although we didn't really use it and the bed was comfy, even though we had to pull it out from the wall so we could both get in!

If you're visiting Bedfordshire or Cambridgeshire, this is a very good base, easily accessible via the A1M. St Neots is a nice littel town, a few good restuarants, coffee shops and not too far from Cambridge.

We visited for a family wedding at Bassmead Manor so didn’t eat out in St Neots. There were several shops, some small and independent which is good. We did notice great cafes for breakfast/lunch and a good footpath by the river for riverside walks. Steve’s Taxis provided excellent customer service to and from the venue at very reasonable prices.

Saint Neots is a lovely little village on a long river with boating and walking on offer in the area. The other advantage is it's proximity to Cambridge which is also beautiful. A wonderful place to visit.

We visited the Wimpole Estate which was a relaxing day out. Ate at the Snooty Tavern which was very good, and Aunties Thai where the food was a bit mixed and disappointing after reading so many good reviews.

I stayed here for one night and was extremely impressed at the friendliness of the staff, quality of food and the quality of the rooms. This is absolutely not a typical "pub with rooms", and honestly exceeds some chain hotels. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was exceptional with a rainfall shower. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was outstanding. I can thoroughly recommend the Eaton Oak and will definitely default to staying there again when I need to stay in the area.
