Located 4.3 mi from Lincoln Medieval Bishops' Palace, 3.1 mi from Bishop Grosseteste University and 3.1 mi from Lincoln Castle, Lindley Log Cabin provides accommodations set in Lincoln. The cabin is bigger than appears in the pictures, the kitchen though not huge, is easy enough to cook in, and the oven and hob work very well. The hot water is very very hot and the heating system works effectively. The bed is comfy and the bathroom well appointed. There is a dishwasher and a washing machine in the utility room. Some books and odds and ends that might be of interest too. Everything was spotless all the fittings appeared, if not new, to be in excellent repair.

Great pub up the road-The Dambusters that was full of interesting facts and items belonging to the R.A.F. Good meals served there. Try the fish and chips. The fish is so big it hangs over the side of the plate!!!! Have a look around the church for more records of the war and the local heroes. If you are going into Lincoln it is an easy run from Scampton. In all, it was a wonderful stay at the cottage.
We enjoyed the lovely cottage and surrounding are gorgeous. We have to say the Dam Busters pub is a must to visit for gorgeous food and such memorabilia, everyone was so friendly from the hosts Sue to the locals in the pub, Sue made sure we had everything we needed. We went as going on a tour of RAF Scampton, couldnt have been nearer. Would recommend and definitely will be going back.
Lovely quiet and friendly village. The local pub is nice and friendly - The Dambuster Inn. We are at The Inn at Ingham on the Green and would recommend this gastro pub and booking in advance if possible.
Pretty village in quiet location. Nice pub, full of character (Dambusters), but need to book if you want to dine there. It is only a 5 minute walk away. Easy country walks nearby as very flat. Avoid Boston - terrible traffic!!
We loved our overnight stay the cottage it is clean and comfortable and has lovely decor! The Dambuster pub just down the road is well worth a visit theres a lovely open fire with great atmosphere and nice food. Just one little thing would of made our trip a little better, we only stayed for one night. There was tea, coffee and sugar but no milk and because we where only staying the one night, didnt think to bring any with us and couldnt find a shop near by so maybe if there were just a couple of little sachets just for a cup of tea in the morning. That would be great.
Quiet well appointed cottage ,very comfortable . Short walk 5 minutes up the high street to the Dambuster Inn . Excellent food , has its own mini brewery on the premises, bursting with character would need more than one visit to see everything . Superb visit
